و أشار يبدى في حديث لموقع فوت ميركاتو إلى أن "الفريق الوطني يحذوه الكثير من الإرادة و العزم. سنذهب هناك (المغرب) من أجل بذل أقصى مجهود لكننا لن ننتقل من أجر الخسارة ! ".و عن سؤال حول مشوار الفريق الوطني في تصفيات كأس إفريقيا للأمم صرح يبدى قائلا "كان أدائنا سيئا في البداية بحيث سجلنا تعادلات على أرضنا أمام روندا وتنزانيا. و بعدها انهزمنا في أفريقيا الوسطى في ظروف صعبة بعض الشيء نظرا لغياب العديد من اللاعبين. و عاد كل اللاعبين أما المغرب (http://www.dzayersport.com/vb/tags.php?tag=%C7%E1%E3%DB%D1%C8) و كنا في لياقة بدنية جيدة سمحت لنا بالفوز (1-0). و الآن هناك مباراة عودة حاسمة".

و فيما يخص مشوار فريقه في البطولة الإيطالية أكد اللاعب بعد انهزامه أمام فريق ميلان أسي أنه "لازالت هناك خمس مباريات أخرى" مضيفا أن "النادي سيحاول ضمان مكانه في رابطة الأبطال".

و فيما يتعلق بمشواره الأوروبي أوضح اللاعب أنه "في بنفيكا (2008/2009) تحصلنا على المرتبة الثالثة بحيث كنا في المرتبة الأولى في جانفي و بالرغم من كل هذا تبقى هذه السنة جميلة و لا أندم على أي شيء. و نفس الشيء اليوم مع نابولي.

و لقد حققت هذا النجاح بفضل كل الأشخاص الذين يحيطون بي إضافة إلى المناصرين". و عن سؤال حول الأسباب التي دفعته إلى اختيار فريق نابولي الإيطالي أشار يبدى أنه "تلقى عروض أخرى من إيطاليا" مضيفا "ارتحت لهذا النادي (نابولي). طلبت من روي كوستا (المدير الرياضي لبنفيكا) و نصحني بالانضمام إلى نادي نابولي. علاوة على ذلك لم يفز الفريق بالبطولة منذ مدة و بالتالي قلت لنفسي يمكنني أن أساهم في إنجاح الفريق".

و في حديثه ، عن مشاريعه صرح قائلا "بقيت خمس مباريات و سأبذل قصار جهدي فيها و سنرى ماذا سيحدث بعدها. يمكن للمسؤولين بنابولي أن يرفعوا خيار الشراء (3 ملايين أورو) لكن ستجري محادثات بعد هذه المباريات الخمسة لأننا التقينا من قبل و يجب تعميق هذه المحادثات".
