تلقت قناة الجزيرة القطرية في الأيام الأخيرة عدة ضربات "مهنية" موجعة، جعلتها تخسر مصداقيتها والعديد من نجومها، وسحبت الكثير من رصيدها لدى المشاهد العربي خاصة بعد تجاهلها لثورة الشعب البحريني على خلفية طائفية ثم اتهامها بالسماح للقرضاوي باستخدامها كمنصة لإشعال الفتن الطائفية في البحرين وفي سوريا، وهو ما زكته الاستقالات التي قدمها عدد من كبار نجوم القناة، فبعد غسان بجدو، جاء الدور على الإعلامي الكبير فيصل القاسم. ونقلت عدد من الصحف العربية والمواقع الالكترونية ان المذيع في محطة الجزيرة فيصل القاسم والمراسل عباس ناصر قدما استقالتهما، وهما استقالتان تضافان إلى استقالة غسان بن جدو مدير مكتب الجزيرة في بيروت الذي وصف "الجزيرة" بالتحريضية والمغرضة. ونقل موقع "شام برس" عن مصادر مقربة من الإعلامي فيصل القاسم أنه تقدم باستقالته إلى قناة الجزيرة منذ مدة بسبب سياستها التي ابتعدت فيها عن المهنية والموضوعية. وحسب معلومات متداولة فإن الاستقالة جاءت بعد الخطة الازدواجية التي اتبعتها "قناة الشيخ جاسم" في تغطية الثورات في العالم العربي، ونقلت المصادر أن الاستقالة جاءت بعد عرض قناة الجزيرة مشاهد لمواطنين عراقيين وهم مداسون بالأقدام زمن صدام على انهم مواطنون سوريون في بانياس، وهو مشهد مشابه لما نقلته قبل أسابيع عن ضرب مساجين في العراق على انه في سجن في اليمن قبل ان تعتذر . وقد تبنت الجزيرة هذه الأيام خط سعد الحريري في ضرب المقاومة اللبنانية ولاثارة الشارع السوري وضربه في الصميم من خلال التركيز على الطائفية وهو ابرز ما اثاره القرضاوي في بيانه الاخير. وكانا اقسى الضربات تسرب ذلك الشريط للدكتور عزمي بشارة وهو يتلقى تعليمات من المذيع السعودي في محطة الجزيرة بضرورة تجنب الاردن وتبييض صفحة المؤسسة لدى السعودية والبحرين ثم الاتفاق على تخصيص 45 دقيقة من مدة البرنامج للهجوم عل سوريا.
