البيت الأبيض ينشر شهادة ميلاد أوباما

نشر البيت الأبيض الأميركي اليوم الأربعاء وثيقة ولادة الرئيس باراك أوباما التي تثبت أنه ولد بولاية هاواي، في مسعى لوضع حد لشائعات يطلقها معارضوه عن ولادته خارج البلاد، الأمر الذي يسوّغ دستوريا لحرمانه من حق الترشح للرئاسة.
ونشر مدير التواصل في البيت الأبيض دان فايفر وثيقة ولادة الرئيس على مدونة البيت الأبيض.
وتظهر الوثيقة أن أوباما ولد يوم 4 أوت1961 في أواهو في هونولولو بجزيرة هاواي، وأمه بيضاء تدعى ستانلي آن دانهام ووالده أفريقي من كينيا هو حسين أوباما.
وقال البيت الأبيض إن هذه الوثيقة هي ما يُمنح لأي شخص بولاية هاواي يطلب شهادة ميلاد، وكان قد حصل عليها عام 2008 بعد إثارة الجدل حول مكان ولادته.
وقال أوباما بمؤتمر صحفي بالبيت الأبيض بعد نشر شهادة الميلاد "هذه المسألة مثارة منذ نحو عامين أو عامين ونصف العام" مضيفا "أعتقد أنها بدأت أثناء الحملة الانتخابية وأود أن أقول إنني أتابعها منذ أكثر من عامين ونصف العام بذهول، وقد كنت في حيرة إلى أي مدى ستستمر".
وأوضح الرئيس أن "كل مسؤول في هاواي ديمقراطي أو جمهوري وكل وسيلة إخبارية تحقق في القضية أكدت: نعم إنني ولدت في هاواي في الرابع من أوت1961 في مستشفى كابيولاني".
وأضاف "لقد نشرنا الشهادة التي أصدرتها ولاية هاواي على الإنترنت ليراها الجميع" خاصة بعدما طلب الملياردير دونالد ترامب إرسال فريق من المحققين إلى هاواي للتدقيق في حقيقة ميلاد أوباما على أراضيها".

وردا على حملة ترامب، قال الرئيس "في المعتاد لا أعلق على مثل هذه الأمور" مشيرا إلى أن إدارته لديها أولويات أخرى من بينها الضغوط المالية التي تشغلها حاليا، معتبرا الحملة "تشتيتا للانتباه يصرف الأنظار عن القضايا المهمة مثل الميزانية الاتحادية".
وقد عادت مسألة مكان ولادة أوباما لتثير جدلا بالولايات المتحدة مع إعلانه عزمه الترشح لولاية جديدة العام 2012، وتشكيك بعض الجمهوريين وبينهم ترامب الذي لمح إلى إمكانية ترشحه للرئاسة في مكان ولادة أوباما.
وأشار البيت الأبيض إلى أن أوباما طلب استثناء من وزارة الصحة في هاواي للسماح له بنشر وثيقة ولادته الكاملة، وقد حصل على الإذن بعد الجدل الواسع حول الموضوع.
وأضاف البيت الأبيض أنه في وقت تواجه فيه هذه البلاد عواقب كبيرة، حيث يجب أن نناقش كيف نربح المستقبل ونخفض العجز ونتعامل مع أسعار الوقود المرتفعة ونحقق الاستقرار في الشرق الأوسط، كانت البلاد مرة أخرى منشغلة في أمر فارغ.
يُشار إلى أن حركة مناهضة لأوباما انطلقت بالولايات المتحدة العام 2008، تشكك في أن الرئيس ولد بهاواي لأن والده كيني.
يُذكر أن الدستور الأميركي يحظر على أي شخص مولود خارج البلاد الترشح للرئاسة.
