وقد تغلب نجم سطيف (http://www.dzayersport.com/vb/tags.php?tag=%D3%D8%ED%DD) بسهولة على نادي وركوينزو البورندي بثلاثة أشواط نظيفة ضمن مباريات المجموعة الثالثة ليحتل المرتبة الثانية بعد فريق طلائع الجيش المصري.

في حين فاز اتحاد البليدة (http://www.dzayersport.com/vb/tags.php?tag=%C7%E1%C8%E1%ED%CF%C9) على نادي الخدمات العامة الكيني ب3 أشواط مقابل 1 بعد كان منهزما بشوط مقابل صفر ليحتل الريادة في المجموعة الرابعة حسب الأشواط التي حصل عليها.

وقد أعرب مدرب نجم سطيف (http://www.dzayersport.com/vb/tags.php?tag=%D3%D8%ED%DD) يزيد رضا في تصريح مقتضب عن ارتياحه لهذا التأهل الذي لم يكن كما قال صعبا خاصة وان مجموعته لا تحتوي على فرق قوية باستثناء فريق طلائع الجيش المصري الذي احتل المرتبة الاولى في المجموعة .

وأشار إلى أن هزيمة نجم سطيف (http://www.dzayersport.com/vb/tags.php?tag=%D3%D8%ED%DD) الهزيمة في المقابلة الأولى ترجع إلى عدم تمكن اللاعبين من استرجاع لياقاتهم حيث كان وصولهم إلى القاهرة عشية المقابلة إلى جانب كثرة الأخطاء التي ارتكبوها بسبب نقص التجربة وصغر سنهم إذ يضم الفريق عدد من اللاعبين من صنف الأواسط.

وأشار إلى أن فريقه استطاع بعدها أن يفوز على كل من وركوينزو البورندي و السجانة السوداني.

وأشار المدرب يزيد رضا إلى أن تغيير مكان البطولة في إلا كانت خر بعدما مقررة في المغرب إلى جانب عدم مشاركة العديد من البلدان اثر على مستوى البطولة الافريقية .

وستركن الفرق المتأهلة غدا الأحد إلى الراحة قبل أن تواصل منافسات الربع النهائي.
