أجمعت الدول على صيغة نبأ مقتله بينما تناقل الناس عبارات مختلفة فقيل : استشهد أسامة، قتل أسامة، مات أسامة، هكذا كانت صيغة تناقل الناس للخبر، فكان وقعه أليما عند البعض، وكان مبهجا عند البعض، وبقي الكثير لا يعرف كيف يصنع رأيه!
