وكان المصارع الجزائري يحلم بالتألق في هذا الموعد العالمي، غير أن عملية القرعة أرادت شيئا اخر، ذلك انه ضحى في وقت سابق بجزء مهم من دراسته، لأنه مقبل على شهادة الباكالويا هذه السنة، حيث ينتظر أن يعود في وقت لاحق مع رئيس الاتحادية عبد الدايم رفقة بعض زملائه، من أجل اجتياز امتحان الباكالويا ثم العودة الى كوريا من أجل إجراء معسكر إعدادي مغلق، إلى غاية ٨٢ جويلية القادم، وذلك في إطار استعدادات المنتخب الوطني للألعاب الإفريقية القادمة. وشارك المنتخب الوطني للتاي كوان دو الذي يقوده المدرب مراد لعلام بستة مصارعين في بطولة* ‬العالم،* ‬من* ‬بينهم* ‬اثنان* ‬لدى* ‬صنف* ‬الاناث،* ‬وخرجوا* ‬كلهم* ‬من* ‬الدور* ‬الاول،* ‬باستثناء* ‬المصارع* ‬مقداد* ‬اليامين* ‬في* ‬وزن* ٤٥ ‬كلغ،* ‬الذي* ‬تاهل* ‬الى* ‬الدور* ‬الثاني* ‬قبل* ‬أن* ‬يقصى* ‬بدوره* ‬في* ‬هذا* ‬الدور*.‬
