من ساعد بن لادن على الاختباء؟

بن لادن ربما أقام في هذا المجمع ما يصل إلى ست سنوات متصلة

تثير المعلومات المتواترة عن إقامة زعيم تنظيم القاعدة الراحل أسامة بن لادن في مجمع سكني فخم في مدينة إبت آباد في شمال غرب باكستان لعدة سنوات على الأرجح، تساؤلات عمن يكون ساعده على الاختباء خلال تلك المدة.
ويقول معهد ستراتفور الأميركي للدراسات الاستخبارية إنه كانت هناك شبكة دعم قوية مكنت بن لادن من الاختباء في المجمع لمدة ربما لا تقل عن خمس سنوات، حتى مقتله في الثاني من هذا الشهر خلال عملية نفذتها وحدة خاصة أميركية.
وكانت تقارير متواترة أشارت عقب عملية الاغتيال إلى أن الأميركيين تتبعوا خيوطا أوصلتهم إلى أسامة بن لادن, وكان من بين تلك الخيوط رُسل كانوا يتصلون بحذر شديد بزعيم القاعدة.
ويشير المعهد الأميركي إلى رصد نشاط مريب حول المجمع السكني الفخم الذي كان يقيم فيه بن لادن, والذي كان يبعد مئات الأمتار فقط عن أكاديمية عسكرية في المدينة الهادئة التي تقع على مسافة 190 كيلومترا تقريبا من الحدود مع أفغانستان.
وذكر في هذا الصدد أن المقيمين في المجمع كانوا لغزا بالنسبة إلى جيرانهم الذين لم يتح لهم على ما يبدو التحدث كثيرا إلى أولئك الأشخاص الذين كان بينهم بن لادن.

وينقل ستراتفور عن لقاءات أجرتها وكالة أسوشيتد برس عن سكان محليين أن شائعات كانت تسري بأن من يملك المجمع- الذي قدرت كلفته بمليون دولار- كانوا إما تجار مخدرات أو مهربين.
وكانت معلومات متطابقة قد ذكرت أن المجمع لم يكن مجهزا بالإنترنت أو بالهاتف الأرضي, لكنه مزود في المقابل بكاميرات, ومحمي بأسلاك شائكة وضعت على الجدران العالية التي يصل ارتفاعها في بعض المواضع إلى 5.5 أمتار.
كما أنه لم يكن ممكنا الدخول إلى المجمع إلا من خلال بوابتين, وكان ساكنوه يحرقون النفايات داخله وفقا لمعلومات متطابقة أيضا.
ومما عُدّ أيضا ضمن الأنشطة المريبة منع طاقم سينمائي باكستاني من التصوير أمام المجمع, بينما كان الحراس يعطون الأطفال أموالا حين تسقط عرضا كرات الكريكيت داخل المجمع.
ومما أثار ريبة تجاه ساكني المجمع أنهم كانوا يتحاشون السكان, بل إنهم لم يكونوا يساهمون في أي نشاط خيري. وكانوا يمتنعون أيضا عن السماح لأي فريق طبي حكومي بتطعيم أطفالهم، إذ كانوا يتولون ذلك بأنفسهم.
وكان عدد من السكان يعتقدون أن شخصا من منطقة وزيرستان القبلية القريبة من الحدود الأفغانية يملك المجمع, لكنهم لاحظوا أن ساكنيه أو بعضهم ممن اتصلوا بهم يتكلمون العربية.
ويقول ستراتفور إنه رجح منذ 2005 أن يكون أسامة بن لادن موجودا في إقليم خيبر بختون خوا التي تقع إيت أباد ضمن حدودها.
