ابتكر مختبر ياباني آلة تجعل مستعملها قادرًا على "تقبيل" شخص آخر عبر الإنترنت، ويمكن للطرف الآخر أن يستمتع بالقبلة ذاتها مرات عديدة بتخزينها على الإنترنت.
وتعتمد آلية القبلة على الإنترنت على تحريك اللسان على "قشة بلاستيكية"؛ ما يجعل قشة مماثلة على الجانب الآخر من الإنترنت تحرك لسان الشخص الآخر، تعبيرًا عن القبلة، وهو أمر أشبه بما يعرف بـ"القبلة الفرنسية"، حسب شبكة CNN الإخبارية 5 مايو/أيار.
ويمكن تسجيل "معلومات وبيانات القبلة" على الكمبيوتر وعرضها لاحقًا بحيث يستطيع الطرف الآخر أن يستمتع بالقبلة نفسها أكثر من مرة.
ويعمل على تطوير مشروع "آلة القبلة" مختبر "كاجيموتو" الياباني التابع لجامعة الاتصالات الإلكترونية في طوكيو.
ويقول المختبر إن هذا المشروع مجرد بداية لما يمكن أن يصير "قبلة كاملة" من شخص لآخر عبر الإنترنت.
وتتكوَّن "آلة القبلة" من صندوق آلي مزود بمحرك شكله أقرب ما يكون إلى جهاز فحص التنفس الذي تستعمله الشرطة في قياس مستويات الكحول لدى سائقي السيارات.
والهدف من المشروع هو مساعدة العشاق والأحبة الموجودين في مناطق متباعدة، على الشعور بإحساس القبلة.
التجربة كي تكتمل يجب أن تتم على جهازين، لكنها تمت على حاسوب واحد، غير أن النظام يمكنه أن يعمل على إيصالها على الإنترنت.
