مكالمة هاتفية دلت على بن لادن

قالت صحيفة واشنطن بوست الأميركية إن مكالمة هاتفية جرت العام الماضي شكلت رأس الخيط الذي أوصل إلى المكان الذي تحصن فيه زعيم تنظيم القاعدة أسامة بن لادن في بلدة إبت آباد قرب العاصمة الباكستانية إسلام آباد، حيث لقي مصرعه برصاص القوات الأميركية.

ففي العام الماضي 2010 تلقى شخص باكستاني يعرف لدى الولايات المتحدة باسم "أبو أحمد الكويتي" مكالمة هاتفية من صديق له قديم، وكانت تلك هي الإشارة التي دلت في ما بعد على تحديد موقع بن لادن في باكستان.

وكان أن اتصل صديق قديم لـ"أبو أحمد الكويتي" سائلا إياه "أين كنت طيلة هذه الفترة؟ فلقد افتقدناك، وكيف تسير أمورك الحياتية؟ وماذا تفعل الآن؟"، ليرد عليه الأخير ردا غامضا، جاء فيه "أنا عدت للعمل مع الناس الذين كنت أعمل معهم سابقا".

ثم يتوقف الحديث على الهاتف هنيهة، وكأن الصديق القديم عرف أن كلمات "أبو أحمد الكويتي" تعني أن الأخير عاد للعمل لدى الدائرة الداخلية لزعيم تنظيم القاعدة، أو ربما كان قريبا من بن لادن نفسه.

فرد الصديق القديم على أبو أحمد الكويتي بقوله "يسر الله لك".

وأضافت واشنطن بوست أنه عندما علم مسؤولو الاستخبارات الأميركية بهذه المحادثة التلفونية، عرفوا أنهم وصلوا إلى نقطة هامة من بحثهم الذي استمر عشر سنوات للعثور على زعيم تنظيم القاعدة.

فالمكالمة هذه هي التي دلت الاستخبارات الأميركية على المبنى ذي الأسوار العالية الذي تحصن داخله بن لادن في بلدة إبت آباد شمالي العاصمة إسلام آباد بحوالي 56 كيلومترا، حسبما قاله أحد مسؤولي الاستخبارات الأميركية في أحد اجتماعاتهم الاثنين الماضي.

وأضاف مسؤولون آخرون في الاستخبارات الأميركية أن فحوى المكالمة الهاتفية وبعض المعلومات الأخرى الإضافية منحت الرئيس الأميركيباراك أوباما الثقة كي يطلق حملة يكون من شأنها اعتقال أو قتل بن لادن في حصنه، وذلك بالرغم من أجواء عدم الاتفاق التي سيطرت على مستشاري أوباما الأمنيين، خشية ألا يكون بن لادن داخل منزله لحظة الهجوم.

وقالت الصحيفة إن الوكالات الاستخبارية كانت تبحث عن أبو أحمد الكويتي منذ أربع سنوات على الأقل، وأن المكالمة التي تلقاها من صديقه القديم العام الماضي كانت هي التي أرشدت الاستخبارات الأميركية إلى رقم الهاتف، وبالتالي قادهم الهاتف إلى حصن بن لادن.

وأما حصن بن لادن في بلدة إبت آباد الباكستانية المكون من ثلاثة طوابق فلم يكن مزودا بخدمات هاتفية أو إنترنت، وبالتالي فلم يكن بإمكان التقنيات التي يستخدمها الأمن القومي الأميركي الوصول إليه أو اختراقه.

ومما كان يثير دهشة المسؤولين الأميركيين هو أنه كلما أراد أبو أحمد الكويتي أو آخرون ممن وجدوا في منزل بن لادن استخدام الهاتف، كانوا يقودون سياراتهم مبتعدين لساعة ونصف قبل حتى أن يضعوا البطاريات داخل الهواتف النقالة كي يبدؤوا الاتصال.

كما نسبت الصحيفة إلى إيجاز قدمه مدير سي آي أي ليون بانيتا قوله إن الأقمار الاصطناعية رصدت هدفا يتحرك في حديقة الحصن بإبت آباد جيئة وذهابا وبصفة شبه يومية، وأن ذلك الهدف لم يغادر المكان لفترة طويلة، ولم يكن يعرف ما إذا كان هو بن لادن أم هو فزاعة طيور أم تمثالا متحركا في نفس المكان.

وكانت الولايات المتحدة تنوي قصف المكان بطائرة بدون طيار، لكنها خشيت من عدم إصابة الهدف، أو من عدم التحقق من أن بن لادن لاقى حتفه من عدمه، أو يكون قد نجا ولاذ بالفرار، مما يضع أميركا في حيرة وغموض ويجبرها على إعادة عملية البحث من جديد.

ومن هنا قررت الاستخبارات الأميركية القيام بالمهمة عن طريق جنود يمشون على الأرض ويدخلون الحصن، ويشاهدون بن لادن رأي العين، وتساندهم مروحيات عسكرية، فكان ما كان.

ويشار إلى أن أوباما ومعاونيه ومستشاريه الأمنيين راقبوا على الفيديو وسط أجواء من الرهبة والرعب عملية الهجوم العسكري الأميركي على بن لادن في إبت آباد الباكستانية الذي تم في الأول من ماي2011 وأعلن صبيحة اليوم التالي.
