مشرف وبوش اتفقا سرا لقتل بن لادن

كشفت صحيفة ذي غارديان البريطانية عن أن الولايات المتحدة أبرمت اتفاقا سريا مع باكستان قبل حوالي عشر سنوات يسمح بموجبه لواشنطن بالقيام بعملية عسكرية ضد زعيم تنظيم القاعدة أسامة بن لادن على الأراضي الباكستانية.

ونسبت ذي غارديان إلى مسؤولين باكستانيين وأميركيين متقاعدين وحاليين القول إنه سبق للرئيس الباكستاني السابق برويز مشرف والرئيس الأميركي السابق جورج بوش التوصل إلى اتفاق يخول القوات العسكرية الأميركية شن هجوم لقتل بن لادن كالذي تم قبل أيام، موضحة أن ذلك الاتفاق بين الطرفين جرى إثر نجاة زعيم تنظيم القاعدة من هجمات شنتها ضده القوات الأميركية في جبال تورا بورا الأفغانية أواخر 2001.

وأوضحت الصحيفة أن الاتفاق السري سمح للقوات العسكرية الأميركية بشن غارة داخل أراضي باكستان من جانب واحد بحثا عن بن لادن ونائبه أيمن الظواهري، وأن الاتفاق سمح لباكستان بالاحتجاج بقوة في حال تصفية الرجلين.

وأشارت ذي غارديان إلى أن قوات عسكرية أميركية خاصة أغارت على منزل تحصن فيه زعيم القاعدة في بلدة إبت آباد قرب العاصمة إسلام آباد، وتمكنت من قتل بن لادن صبيحة اليوم الثاني من ماي والجاري، وسط إصرار المسؤولين في باكستان على أنهم لا يعرفون عن العملية شيئا.

وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن باكستان تواجه انتقادات شديدة إثر مقتل بن لادن على أراضيها، وأن الرئيس الأميركي باراك أوباما قال إنه لا بد من وجود شبكة داخل باكستان كانت تدعم زعيم تنظيم القاعدة.

وأضافت أن المسؤولين الباكستانيين والقادة العسكريين في المقابل وجهوا انتقادات شديدة اللهجة للولايات المتحدة، وأن رئيس الوزراء الباكستاني يوسف رضا جيلاني أطلق تهديدات أمام البرلمان بأن بلاده تحتفظ بحق الرد بكل قوة.
كما نسبت الصحيفة إلى مسؤول أميركي وصفته بأنه بارز ومطلع على عمليات مكافحة "الإرهاب" قوله إنه كان هناك اتفاق بين بوش ومشرف بشأن تصفية بن لادن إذا اكتشفت واشنطن مكان وجوده.

وأضاف المسؤول الأميركي أن الاحتجاجات الباكستانية كانت الوجه العام للاتفاق وأن الولايات المتحدة كانت تعلم أن المسؤولين الباكستانيين سينكرون الاتفاق وكل تداعيات الاتفاق على الأرض الباكستانية.

وقالت ذي غارديان إن مسؤولا باكستانيا وصفته برفيع المستوى أكد أن اتفاقا قد تم التوصل إليه بالفعل في ظل حكم الرئيس السابق مشرف، مضيفا الجيش الباكستاني قام بتجديد الاتفاق أثناء مرحلة التحول إلى الديمقراطية، وأن الهجوم على بن لادن في بلدة إبت آباد تم تنفيذه بموجب ذلك الاتفاق بغض النظر عن الاتهامات الشكلية المتبادلة بين الجانبين.
وأما جيلاني، فقال إنه لم تتم دعوة بن لادن للعيش في باكستان، وإن الجيش بدأ تحقيقات بشأن كيفية اختفائه داخل البلاد، مضيفا أن كبار الجنرالات في الجيش سيقدمون موجزا بشأن قضية وجود ومقتل بن لادن التي هزت باكستان وأثارت جدلا واسعا في أنحاء العالم.
