http://www.alwatan-libya.com/assets/images/14908_16158.JPGاشتهر برنار هنري ليفي في الأشهر الأخيرة في وسائل الإعلام العربية كشخصية زارت بنغازي تكراراً، وقالت وسائل الإعلام أنها لعبت دوراً حاسماً في الترويج للاعتراف الفرنسي الرسمي، ثم الأوروبي، ثم الدولي، بمجلس الحكم الانتقالي في بنغازي. فمن هو برنار هنري ليفي؟

ولد ليفي لعائلة يهودية ثرية في الجزائر في 5/11/1948 أبان الاحتلال الفرنسي للجزائر، وقد انتقلت عائلته لباريس بعد اشهر من ميلاده. وقد درس الفلسفة في جامعة فرنسية راقية وعلمها فيما بعد، واشتهر كأحد "الفلاسفة الجدد"، وهم جماعة انتقدت الاشتراكية بلا هوادة واعتبرتها "فاسدة أخلاقياً"، وهو ما عبر عنه في كتابه الذي ترجم لعدة لغات تحت عنوان: "البربرية بوجه إنساني".

لكن ليفي اشتهر أكثر ما اشتهر كصحفي، وكناشط سياسي. وقد ذاع صيته في البداية كمراسل حربي من بنغلادش خلال حرب انفصال بنغلادش عن باكستان عام 1971. ولمع نجمه في التسعينات كداعية لتدخل حلف الناتو في يوغوسلافيا السابقة. وفي عام 1995 ورث شركة "بيكوب" عن أبيه، وقد بيعت الشركة عام 1997 بحوالي 750 مليون فرنك فرنسي. وفي نهاية التسعينات أسس مع يهوديين آخرين معهد "لفيناس" الفلسفي في القدس العربية المحتلة.

وفي عام 2003 نشر ليفي كتاباً بعنوان "من قتل دانييل بيرل؟" تحدث فيه عن جهوده لتعقب قتلة بيرل الصحافي الأمريكي الذي قطع تنظيم القاعدة رأسه. وقد كان ليفي وقتها، أي في العام 2002، مبعوثاً خاصاً للرئيس الفرنسي جاك شيراك في أفغانستان.

وفي عام 2006، وقع ليفي بياناً مع أحد عشر مثقفاً، أحدهم سلمان رشدي، بعنوان: "معاً لمواجهة الشمولية الجديدة" رداً على الاحتجاجات الشعبية في العالم الإسلامي ضد الرسوم الكاريكاتورية المنشورة في صحيفة دنماركية التي تمس سيدنا محمد عليه الصلاة والسلام. وفي مقابلة مع صحيفة "جويش كرونيكل" اليهودية المعروفة في 14/10/2006، قال ليفي حرفياً: "الفيلسوف لفيناس يقول أنك عندما ترى الوجه العاري لمحاورك، فإنك لا تستطيع أن تقتله أو تقتلها، ولا تستطيع أن تغتصبه، ولا أن تنتهكه. ولذلك عندما يقول المسلمون أن الحجاب هو لحماية المرأة، فإن الأمر على العكس تماماً. الحجاب هو دعوة للاغتصاب"!

وفي 16/9/2008، نشر برنار هنري ليفي كتابه "يسار في أزمنة مظلمة: موقف ضد البربرية الجديدة" الذي يزعم فيه أن اليسار بعد سقوط الشيوعية قد فقد قيمه واستبدلها بكراهية مرضية تجاه الولايات المتحدة و"إسرائيل" واليهود، وأن النزعة الإسلامية لم تنتج من سلوكيات الغرب مع المسلمين، بل من مشكلة متأصلة، وأن النزعة الإسلامية تهدد الغرب تماماً كما هددتها الفاشية يوماً ما... وأكد أن التدخل في العالم الثالث بدواعي إنسانية ليس "مؤامرة إمبريالية" بل أمر مشروع تماماً.

وفي آب/ أغسطس 2008، كان ليفي في أوستيا الجنوبية، وقابل رئيس جورجيا ميخائيل سكاشفيلي، خلال الحرب التي جرت مع روسيا وقتها.

وفي 24/6/2009، نشر برنار هنري ليفي فيديو على الإنترنت لدعم الاحتجاجات ضد الانتخابات "المشكوك بأمرها" في إيران.

وخلال العقد المنصرم كله كان ليفي من أشرس الداعين للتدخل الدولي في دارفور.

وفي كانون الثاني/ يناير 2010، دافع ليفي عن البابا بنيدكت السادس عشر في وجه الانتقادات السياسية الموجهة إليه من اليهود، معتبراً إياه صديقاً لليهود.

وخلال افتتاح مؤتمر "الديموقراطية وتحدياتها" في تل أبيب/ تل الربيع في أيار/ مايو 2010، قدر برنار هنري ليفي وأطرى على جيش الدفاع "الإسرائيلي" معتبراً إياه أكثر جيش ديموقراطي في العالم. وقال: "لم أر في حياتي جيشاً ديموقراطياً كهذا يطرح على نفسه هذا الكم من الأسئلة الأخلاقية. فثمة شيء حيوي بشكل غير اعتيادي في الديموقراطية الإسرائيلية".

وكان ليفي قد رتب للمتمردين لقاء في قصر الإليزيه في فرنسا مع صديقه ساركوزي بعد لقائه معهم في بنغازي في 4/3/2011.
