تمكنت صينية بلا ساقين تدعى زو ييوهوا (55 عاما) من تربية أكثر من 130 يتيما بعد أن تعلمت المشي باستخدام مقعدين.
وكانت ييوهوا قد فقدت ساقيها في سن 12 عاما عندما صدمها قطار بينما كانت تجمع الفحم بجوار السكة الحديد. كما فقدت أبويها في طفولتها وتم إيداعها في دار للأيتام في مدينة زيانغتان عندما بلغت السابعة عشرة.
وهناك تعلمت ييوهوا المشي باستخدام مقعدين ومن ثم شرعت في العمل على مساعدة الأطفال الأيتام الآخرين حيث كانت تغسل ملابسهم وتغير لهم حفاظاتهم بل وصنعت لهم أحذية.
وعلى مدى السنوات السبع والثلاثين الماضية أبلت ييوهوا أكثر من 40 مقعدا وتمكنت من تربية 130 يتيما، جميعهم ينادونها بلقب “الأم الكبيرة”.
وفي عام 1987، اقترنت ييوهوا بمزارع خضر يعمل بالدار وأنجبا ابناً ومع ذلك ظلت تواصل رعاية الأيتام.، وتقول “قد لا أكون إنسانة عظيمة ولكني ابذل ما في وسعي لأمنح هؤلاء الأطفال المساكين حب الأم”.
