بريطانيا تقصف قاعدة لتدريب الحراس الشخصيين في ليبيا

رويترز - قالت وزارة الدفاع البريطانية يوم الثلاثاء ان القوات المسلحة البريطانية هاجمت قاعدة لتدريب الحرس الشخصي للمقربين من الزعيم الليبي معمر القذافي في احدث غارات على ليبيا.
كما قصفت مبنين لجهاز المخابرات في الهجمات التي وقعت ليل الاثنين في طرابلس مستخدمة طائرات تورنادو وصواريخ توماهوك اطلقتها الغواصة تريومف.
وذكرت وزارة الدفاع في بيان ان احد المركزين اللذين استهدفا كان يقوم "بدور مهم في عملية جمع المعلومات التي تقوم بها شرطة العقيد القذافي السرية" وكان الاخر مقرا لجهاز الامن الخارجي الليبي.
وتشير الاهداف فيما يبدو الى توسيع نطاق العمليات البريطانية التي كانت تركز حتى الان على اعطاب الاسلحة وانظمة القيادة والتحكم الليبية.
وكان رئيس الاركان البريطاني الجنرال ديفيد ريتشاردز صرح في مقابلة صحفية في بداية الاسبوع بانه ينبغي لحلف شمال الاطلسي توسيع نطاق الاهداف التي يقصفها في ليبيا والا فمن المحتمل أن يظل القذافي في السلطة.
وقالت وزارة الدفاع البريطانية ان القاعدة الرئيسية التي قصفت تخص قوة تتولى حراسة أفراد الدائرة المحيطة بالقذافي كما توكل اليها "مهام حساسة" اخرى.
وأضافت أنه تبين ان المركبات الموجودة في قاعدة التدريب "شاركت بشكل مباشر في القمع الدموي للمظاهرات التي شهدتها طرابلس في الرابع من مارس والتي أطلقت خلالها الذخيرة الحية على من يحتجون بشكل مشروع."
ونفذت الهجمات البريطانية بالتنسيق مع الغارات التي ينفذها أعضاء اخرون في الحلف بموجب تفويض من الامم المتحدة بحماية المدنيين.
وهاجمت طائرات حلف شمال الاطلسي عدة مرات اهدافا داخل مجمع باب العزيزية الذي يقيم به القذافي لكنها تنفي استهدافه شخصيا.
ونجا القذافي من هجوم على منزل في طرابلس في 30 ابريل نيسان ذكر مسؤولون ليبيون انه اسفر عن مقتل اصغر ابنائه وثلاثة من احفاده.
