الصوم على الماء مفيد للقلب

أفادت دراسة جديدة نشرتها إندبندنت بأن الصيام على الماء فقط لمدة 24 ساعة مفيد للصحة والقلب.
فقد كشف أطباء أميركيون أن الصوم يمكن أن يقلل مخاطر الإصابة بمرض الشريان التاجي والسكري، بالإضافة إلى أنه يمكن أن يحسن مستويات الكولسترول في الدم. كما بينت الدراسة أن الصيام لمدة 24 ساعة يمكن أن يعزز بروتينا أيضيا يسمى هرمون نمو الإنسان الذي يحمي العضلات الضعيفة.
كذلك وجدت دراسة أخرى ارتباطا بين المعدلات المنخفضة لأمراض القلب والأشخاص الذين يصومون يوما في الشهر كعبادة دينية.
وفي حين أن بعض الخبراء اتفقوا على أن صيام يوم واحد على الماء فقط لن يسبب ضررا كبيرا إلا أنهم يحضون على توخي الحذر عند محاولة مواصلة خطة ممتدة للتخلص من سموم الجسم من خلال مراكز الإدمان المنتشرة في أنحاء البلاد.
وقال طبيب خبير في المجال إن الوجبات المفرطة عادة ما تسبب أكثر من الإحباط، ومن المحتمل أن تكون خطيرة، كما أنها في عمومها مضيعة للوقت والمال. وأضاف أن الحميات المتشددة يمكن أن تقود إلى فقدان سوائل الجسم التي يمكن أن تربك التوازن الكهرلي للشخص، مما يسبب تقلب المعدة والصداع والإرهاق والكآبة بل وحتى الجفاف.
ويقول الخبراء أيضا إن الجسم بطبيعته يطهر نفسه من السموم التي تدخله من خلال العمل المتواصل والشاق للكلى والكبد التي من وظائفها التخلص من السموم. وإذا كان الشخص يبحث عن تطهير آمن للجسم أو طريقة لتقليل الوزن فإن من أفضل الطرق تناول الأغذية الطبيعية والصحية وشرب الكثير من الماء النظيف وتجنب الإفراط في الأدوية.
