تأهل الصربي نوفاك ديوكوفيتش والسويسري روجيه فيدرر المصنفان ثانيا اول وثانيا على التوالي الى الدور الثاني من بطولة رولان غاروس الفرنسية، ثاني البطولات الاربع الكبرى في التنس، فيما كان التشيكي توماس برديتش السادس اكبر ضحايا الدور الاول الاثنين.
وفاز ديوكوفيتش على الهولندي ثييمو دي باكر 6-2 و6-1 و6-3 محققا فوزه الثامن والثلاثين على التوالي واصبح بالتالي على بعد فوز فقط من الرقم القياسي في عدد الانتصارات المتتالية في موسم واحد والذي حققه الاميركي جون ماكنرو عام 1984 عندما استهل الموسم حينها بتحقيق 39 فوزا متتاليا.
ويلتقي ديوكوفيتش الذي حقق 7 القاب في 7 دورات وبطولات خاضها منذ بداية الموسم، في الدور الثاني مع الفرنسي بينوا بير او الروماني فيكتور هانيسكو، وتبدو فرصته كبيرة في معادلة رقم ماكنرو.
ويطمح ديوكوفيتش الى مواصلة مشواره الناجح هذا الموسم والابتعاد اكثر من نصف النهائي في رولان غاروس حيث انتهى مشواره مرتين عامي 2007 و2008، والانقضاض بالتالي على المركز الاول في التصنيف العالمي حيث بات الفارق ضئيلا بينه وبين الاسباني رافايل نادال (405 نقاط فقط).
وردا على سؤال حول الضغوط الواقعة عليه سواء على صعيد رقم ماكنرو او انتزاع صدارة التصنيف العالمي، قال ديوكوفيتش "هناك تفسيرات كثيرة حاليا لكنها غير مؤثرة والضغوط في مكان آخر وليست علي".
من جهته، فاز فيدرر على الاسباني فيليسيانو لوبيز 6-3 و6-4 و7-6 (7-3) دون ان يبذل جهدا كبيرا، وسيلتقي بطل 2009 في الدور المقبل مع الفرنسي مكسيم تيكسييرا في مهمة تبدو سهلة للغاية.
ويطمح فيدرر بدوره الى استعادة امجاد الماضي وتكرار انجاز 2010، وهي المرة الوحيدة التي توج في رولان غاروس باعتباره ليس من هواة اللعب على الرمال الحمراء، علما بانه صاحب الرقم القياسي في عدد الالقاب الكبيرة (16 لقبا).
وكان التشيكي توماس برديتش المصنف سادسا اكبر ضحايا الدور الاول بسقوطه امام الفرنسي ستيفان روبير المصنف 140 عالميا والصاعد من التصفيات بعد ان كان يتجه الى فوز سهل اذ احرز المجموعتين الاوليين 6-3 و6-3 قبل ان يخسر الثلاث الاخيرة 2-6 و2-6 و7-9.
وفي ابرز منافسات الرجال، تغلب الاميركي ماردي فيش العاشر على البرازيلي ريكاردو ميلو 6-2 و6-7 (11-13) و6-2 و6-4، والفرنسي غايل مونفيس التاسع على الالماني بيورن بهاو 4-6 و6-3 و7-5 و6-صفر، والروسي ميخائيل يوجني الثاني عشر على الياباني غو سويدا 7-5 و6-2 و6-4، والصربي فيكتور ترويسكي الخامس عشر على الالماني جوليان ريستر 6-4 و6-3 و6-3.
وفاز ايضا البرازيلي توماس بيلوتشي الثالث والعشرون على الكازخستاني اندري غولوبيف 6-4 و6-4 و6-7 (4-7) و7-6 (7-5)، والارجنتيني خوان مانويل دل بوترو الخامس والعشرون على الكرواتي ايفو كارلوفيتش 6-7 (7-9) و6-3 و7-5 و6-4، والروسي نيكولاي دافيدنكو الثامن والعشرون على الالماني دينيس غريميلماير 7-6 (7-2) و6-1 و6-3، والصربي يانكو تيبساريفيتش التاسع والعشرون على الارجنتيني براين دابول 7-6 (7-1) و6-1 و6-صفر.
ولدى السيدات، استهلت الايطالية فرانشيسكا سكيافوني المصنفة خامسة حملة الدفاع عن لقبها بنجاح بفوزها على الاميركية ميلاني اودين بسهولة تامة 6-2 و6-صفر، وستواجه في الدور الثاني الروسية فيسنا ماناسييفا الفائزة على البريطانية آن كيوتافونغ 3-6 و7-6 (7-5) و6-4.
من جانبها، بلغت الروسية فيرا زفوناريفا المصنفة ثالثة الدور الثاني على حساب الاسبانية لورديس دومينيغيز لينو 6-3 و6-3، وستقابل الالمانية سابين ليزيكي او الاوزبكستانية اكغول امان مرادوفا.
وفي ابرز مباريات الفترة الاولى الاثنين، تغلبت السلوفاكية دانييلا هانتوتشوفا الثامنة والعشرون على الصينية شواي جانغ 6-3 و6-3، والايطالية روبرتا فينتشي الثلاثون على مواطنتها البرتا بريانتي 6-3 و3-6 و6-3، والاسترالية اناستازيا روديونوفا على الروسية ناديا بتروفا السادسة والعشرين 6-7 (5-7) و6-3 و6-4.‏
