الحماية من حصوات الكلى و علاقة ذلك بالقلب

اكتشف باحثون أميركيون أن العوامل الحياتية المرتبطة بصحة القلب والعظام يمكنها أيضاً أن تحمي الكلى من الحصى المؤلمة.
وقال موقع HealthDay News الأميركي إن عددا من الدراسات التي عرضت في اللقاء السنوي للجمعية الأميركية لجراحة المسالك البولية في واشنطن، وجدت أن عوامل مثل النظام الغذائي، والوزن، وكمية السعرات الحرارية والكالسيوم في الطعام، والأدوية المستخدمة يمكن أن تحدد إن كان الشخص سيصاب بحصى في الكلى.
لكن الباحثين في المعاهد الوطنية الأميركية للصحة اعتبروا أن عامل الخطر الأكبر للإصابة بحصى الكلى هو الجفاف، كما لفتوا إلى أن هذه الحالة أيضاً قد يكون سببها وراثي أو نتيجة عوامل كثيرة أخرى.
وقال الباحث المسؤول عن إحدى الدراسات التي عرضت، مارشال ستولر من جامعة كاليفورنيا، إن "مرض الحصى في الكلى هو مشكلة موجودة منذ تواجد الإنسان على الأرض"، مضيفا أن النساء اللواتي يتناولن كميات أكبر من الكالسيوم هن أكثر عرضة للإصابة بهذا المرض.
لكن ستولر قال في الوقت ذاته إنه "ينبغي على النساء أن لا يخففن تناول الكالسيوم على أمل خفض خطر الإصابة بحصى الكلى".
وأضاف أن الارتباط بين العوامل المتعلقة بنمط الحياة المتبع، ومرض القلب وحصى الكلى، واضح جداً مؤكدا أنه على من يعانون من وجود حصى في الكلى أن ينظروا في إمكانية إصابتهم بأمراض القلب أيضاً.
وذكرت دراسات أخرى أن خفض السعرات الحرارية التي يجري تناولها يومياً يمكن أن يخفف بشكل ملحوظ خطر الإصابة بهذا المرض لدى المصابين بالسمنة.
كما وجدت الدراسات أن الأنظمة الغذائية التي تحتوي على كثير من اللحوم مرتبطة بزيادة خطر الإصابة بحصى في الكلى، كما أظهرت أن تناول الفاكهة الطازجة والألياف وبعض المواد المعدنية قد يخفف من هذا الخطر.
ووجد الباحثون في جامعة "ايوا" الأميركية أن المعدلات العالية من مضادات الأكسدة في الجسم قد تؤدي إلى خفض خطر الإصابة بهذه الحالة.
وخلص الباحثون في جامعة كاليفورنيا إلى أن أدوية "الستاتين" التي تستخدم لعلاج ارتفاع معدلات الكولسترول مرتبطة بخفض خطر الإصابة بحصى الكلى بين الرجال بنسبة 50 بالمئة وبين النساء بنسبة 70 بالمئة.
