قرر القطري محمد بن همام الأحد سحب ترشيحه لرئاسة الإتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم وقال في مدونته "لا يمكنني أن اقبل بان يكون الاسم الذي أحرص عليه كثيرا يغرق في الوحل بسبب منافسة بين شخصين". وسيفتح هذا الإنسحاب الطريق أمام إعادة انتخاب السويسري بلاتر مرة أخرى.

اعلن القطري محمد بن همام رئيس الاتحاد الاسيوي لكرة القدم اليوم الاحد سحب ترشيحه لرئاسة الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) ما يفتح الطريق لاعادة انتخاب السويسري جوزف بلاتر في هذا المنصب.

وكتب رئيس الاتحاد الاسيوي لكرة القدم في مدونته "يحزنني ان يكون للمعركة من اجل القضايا التي اؤمن بها هذه الكلفة وهي تدهور سمعة الفيفا. لم يكن هذا ما اريده للفيفا وهذا امر غير مقبول".

واضاف "لا يمكنني ان اقبل بان يكون الاسم الذي احرص عليه كثيرا يغرق في الوحل بسبب منافسة بين شخصين (...) واعلن انسحابي من انتخابات الرئاسة" التي يفترض ان تجري الاربعاء المقبل.

وتابع بن همام (61 عاما) "آمل الا يربط انسحابي بالتحقيق الذي تجريه لجنة الاخلاق في الفيفا في الوقت الذي سأمثل فيه امامها لتبرئة اسمي من الاتهامات التي لا اساس لها ووجهت الي".

ويفترض ان يمثل بن همام وبلاتر (75 عاما) اليوم الاحد في زوريخ امام لجنة الاخلاق في اطار قضية فساد تتعلق بانتخابات الاربعاء.

واعلن الفيفا اول من ان امس بأن لجنة الاخلاق التابعة له ستفتح تحقيقا بحق بلاتر بعد ان طلب بن همام ذلك.

وجاء في بيان للاتحاد الدولي "طلب عضو اللجنة التنفيذية في الاتحاد الدولي محمد بن همام من لجنة الاخلاق التابعة للفيفا ان تفتح تحقيقا بحق رئيس الفيفا جوزيف بلاتر على اساس ان التقرير المقدم من عضو اللجنة التنفيذية في الفيفا تشاك بلايزر في وقت سابق من هذا الاسبوع، يؤكد بان جاك وارنر نائب رئيس فيفا ورئيس اتحاد الكونكاكاف اعلم جوزيف بلاتر بدفع بعض الاموال نقدا الى بعض اعضاء الكونكاكاف في الاجتماع الذي نظمه بن همام ووارنر في 10 و11 ايار/مايو الحالي، وبان رئيس الفيفا لم يعارض هذا الامر".

واضاف البيان "وبالتالي، قررت لجنة الاخلاق بالفيفا ان تفتح تحقيقا بحق رئيس الفيفا عملا بالبند السادس عشر من قانون لجنة الاخلاق".

وكان المكتب الاعلامي لبن همام اصدر بيانا جاء فيه ""بما ان الاتهامات تضمنت اسم الرئيس الحالي جوزيف بلاتر، فان محمد بن همام يطالب ان تشمله التحقيقات".

واضاف "الاتهامات تتضمن اقوالا بان بلاتر كان على علم بعمليات الدفع المزعومة لبعض المسؤولين في الاتحاد الكاريبي ولم يعارض هذا الامر".

وكانت لجنة الاخلاق فتحت تحقيقا ببن همام وجاك وارنر رئيس الكونكاكاف اثر التصريحات التي ادلى بها تشاك بلايزر عضو اللجنة التنفيذية للفيفا والامين العام للكونكاكاف الى الامين العام للاتحاد الدولي جيروم فالكه بخصوص "احتمال خروقات" لقانون الاخلاق ارتكبت من قبل بعض مسؤولي الهيئة الكروية الدولية.

وكان بلاتر ندد بالخصوص باجتماع للاتحاد الكارايبي نظم بمشاركة وورنر وبن همام في 10 و11 ايار/مايو الماضي. هذا الاجتماع كان يتعلق بالانتخابات الرئاسية المقبلة للفيفا.

لكن بن همام نفى نفيا قاطعا اي تصرف خاطىء من قبله اثر قرار لجنة الاخلاق واعتبر ان "هذه الحركة ليست الا نوعا من تكتيك يستعمله الاشخاص الذي لا يثقون بقدراتهم على الخروج ظافرين من معركة انتخابات الفيفا".

واوضح "اريد ان انفي نفيا قاطعا اي تصرف خاطىء من قبلي اكان عن قصد او من دون قصد خلال تواجدي في البحر الكاريبي".

وتابع "ساتحدث الى السيد وارنر في هذا الموضوع وسأقدم له كل الدعم، وانا واثق من ان لجنة الاخلاق التي اقدرها كثيرا ستبرئنا من هذه التهمة".
