الهاتف النقال يحمل البكتيريا

أظهرت دراسة تركية جديدة أن احتمال نقل الهواتف النقالة التي يدخلها المرضى والزوار إلى المستشفيات للجراثيم الخطيرة يبلغ الضعف مقارنة بالهواتف التي يملكها طاقم المستشفى.
وذكر موقع هلث دي نيوز العلمي الأميركي على شبكة الإنترنت أن الباحثين في جامعة ملطية التركية وجدوا أن أنواع البكتيريا التي وجدت على هواتف المرضى النقالة والأنماط المقاومة منها كانت مقلقة جدا.
وتوصل الباحثون إلى هذه النتيجة بعد تحليل بكتيريا وجدت على 200 هاتف نقال تعود للمرضى والزوار والعاملين في المستشفى.
وقال الباحث المسؤول عن الدراسة محمد سيد تيكيرك أوغلو إن بعض الباحثين لفتوا إلى أن هواتف الطاقم الطبي النقالة قد تكون مصدرا محتملا للبكتيريا المسببة للأمراض في المستشفيات، وأضاف "لكن دراستنا وجدت أن هواتف المرضى ومرافقيهم وزوارهم تمثل خطرا أكبر من هواتف عمال الرعاية الصحية".
وأوضح الباحث في جامعة ملطية أن إجراءات خاصة لمكافحة العدوى قد تكون ضرورية لمواجهة هذا التهديد.
ولفت الباحثون إلى أن ربع المرضى الذين يدخلون المستشفيات في الدول النامية يتعرضون لعدوى أثناء تلقي العلاج، وتحصل حوالي 1.7 مليون حالة من هذا النوع سنويا في الولايات المتحدة تتسبب وحدها بقرابة 100 ألف وفاة.
