ماذا نأكل خلال التحضير للامتحانات؟

يعيش جسم الطالب أثناء فترة التحضير للإمتحانات ضغطاً قاسياً: من ناحية هناك إجهاد نفسي، ومن ناحية أخرى تعب جسماني تفرضه ساعات الدراسة الطويلة، والجلوس طوال النهار
لكنّ الأهم أن يمرّ الطالب بفترة تحضيرات صحية، ويحافظ على توازنه وطاقته، كي يصل إلى الإمتحان مفعماً بالحيوية وليس منهكاً.
ولعبور فترة الإمتحانات بسلام، يجب أن يأكل التلاميذ ما يمدّ جسمهم بالقوة، ويدعم تركيزهم. ما نضعه في صحن الطالب الذي يستعدّ للإمتحانات الجامعيّة، أو المدرسيّة، أو حتى الشهادات الرسميّة، قد يساعده بشكل كبير.
نصيحتنا الأولى هي الحفاظ على مواقيت الوجبات، وعدم التغاضي عن أي منها بحجة الدراسة. يجب أن يأكل الطالب ثلاث وجبات رئيسية في اليوم، إضافةً إلى وجبتي "سناك". يمكن لتنظيم الوجبات أن يساعد في تنظيم وقت الدراسة والراحة، والأهم أنّه يشعر الدماغ بالراحة لأنّه ينظّم دخول الطاقة وصرفها في الجسم. خسارة الوزن الشائعة أثناء الدراسة ليست عاملاً إيجابياً البتة، لأنّها تعني أنّ الجسم يخسر من طاقته وقد يصل إلى وقت الإمتحان متعباً وضعيفاً.
من ناحية أخرى، يجدر بالأمهات أن يحرصن على تقديم غذاء متنوّع لأولادهنّ أثناء مرحلة التحضير لإمتحانات نهاية العام. يكون هذا الغذاء كفيلاً بحصولهم على كلّ الفيتامينات والمعادن الضرورية.
من المعروف أيضاً أنّ الدماغ شره جداً، فهو يستهلك وحده 20 في المئة من الطاقة الغذائية التي تدخل جسمنا في أوقات الراحة. فكيف تكون الحال في أوقات الدراسة، حين يكون المجهود المبذول من قبل خلايا الدماغ مضاعفاً؟ العنصر الأبرز لتنشيط الدماغ هو الغلوكوز أو السكر الأساسي. يمكن أن نحصل على السكر من مصدر صحي، وهو النشويات البطيئة الإحتراق مثل الخبز والمعكرونة والفاكهة. هذه الأطعمة هي مناجم للطاقة الذهنيّة.
المصيبة الأكبر في وقت الإمتحان تقع حين يصعب على الطالب السيطرة على توتره وقلقه. لكن يمكن لبعض أنواع الطعام أن تخفف من الضغط، وتريح الأعصاب مثل الأرز والمعكرونة. هذه المأكولات تساعد الجسم في إفراز ناقل التريبتوفان العصبي، وهو عامل مهم جداً لمحاربة القلق النفسي عموماً.
الأهم أن يأكل الطالب أطعمة يحبّها، ويخصص وقت راحة لمشاهدة برنامجه المفضل... لماذا؟
لأنّ الشعور باللذة يحفّز على إفراز هرمونات تقضي عل التوتر
