قال الرئيس التونسي المخلوع زين العابدين بن علي إنه سئم من لعب دور كبش الفداء، وأكد أن المحاكمة التي يواجهها في تونس ما هي إلا "مهزلة" لمجرد القطيعة مع الماضي.
ونقل إيف لوبورنيه المحامي الفرنسي لبن علي أن موكله خرج استثنائيا عن صمته للتنديد بمحاكمته في تونس وعمليات تفتيش مكاتبه.
وقال لوبورنيه في تصريح حصلت وكالة فرانس برس على نسخة منه إن بن علي سئم من لعب دور كبش الفداء على أساس الكذب والظلم، واعتبر عمليات التفتيش في مكاتبه الرسمية والخاصة مسرحية تهدف إلى الانتقاص من سمعته.
وأكد بن علي –على لسان محاميه- أن المحاكمة التي تقوم بها تونس ضده ما هي إلا "مهزلة" لمجرد القطيعة الرمزية مع الماضي، وأنه لا يملك عقارات أو موجودات في مصارف بفرنسا ولا في أي بلد أجنبي آخر.
وقال المحامي الفرنسي إنه يعمل بالتنسيق مع المحامي اللبناني أكرم الزوري للدفاع عن مصالح بن علي من باريس.
وكانت وزارة العدل التونسية أعلنت الأسبوع الماضي أن الرئيس المخلوع وزوجته ليلى طرابلسي سيحاكمان غيابيا في الأيام أو الأسابيع المقبلة في أول قضيتين.

وستدور المحاكمة الأولى حول العثور على أسلحة وحوالي كيلوغرامين من المخدرات في المكتب الخاص ببن علي في قصر قرطاج الرئاسي.

أما الشكوى الثانية فتتعلق بحجز اللجنة التونسية لمكافحة الفساد مبلغا يقدر بـ72 مليون دولار نقدا في قصر بن علي في سيدي بوسعيد بضاحية شمال العاصمة التونسية في فيفري الماضي.
وهاتان قضيتان من بين 88 قضية يتابع بها بن علي وزوجته وعائلتاهما والمسؤولون المتعاونون معهما، من بينها قضايا تتعلق بالقتل، والتعسف في استخدام السلطة، وتهريب الآثار، وغسل الأموال.
