بريطانيا: الحرب في ليبيا قد تستمر إلى العام المقبل

علن وزير الخارجية البريطاني، وليام هيج، أن العمليات التي يشنها حلف شمال الأطلسي، وتشارك فيها بلاده، ضد قوات الزعيم الليبي، معمر القذافي، منذ مارس الماضي بتفويضٍ من الأمم المتحدة قد تستمر للعام المقبل.

ونقلت صحيفة "الغارديان" البريطانية في تقرير لها أن هيغ قد أقر، لأول مرة، بأن قوات بلاده يمكن أن تظل مشاركة في الصراع في العمليات العسكرية في ليبيا إلى ما بعد أعياد الميلاد.
وينقل التقرير عن هيغ نفيه أن يكون استخدام مروحيات "الأباتشي" في ليبيا مؤشرا على أن العمليات العسكرية قد تجاوزت الهدف الأساسي الذي كان محددا لها.

وتشير الصحيفة إلى أن الادعاءات بحدوث تجاوز في المهمة المحددة من قبل في ليبيا سيزداد بسبب الأنباء عن أن القادة العسكريين يفكرون في إرسال طائرة "أباتشي" خامسة للانضمام للطائرات المقاتلة هناك.
