مصدر بكتيريا اي- كولاي "بذور نابتة" وليس الخيار

أعلنت ألمانيا امس الجمعة أنها حددت مصدر بكتيريا اي- كولاي التي أدت إلى وفاة 31 شخصا في أوروبا من البراعم، ورفعت على اثر ذلك التحذير من استهلاك السلطات والخيار والطماطم الطازجة والذي الحق أضرارا كبيرة بالمزارعين الأوروبيين.
وصرح راينهارد بورغر مدير معهد روبرت كوخ في مؤتمر صحافي في برلين للمعاهد الصحية الثلاثة التي تعمل على الملف "أنها البراعم". وأظهرت التحاليل أن الأشخاص الذين تناولوا هذه البراعم كان احتمال إصابتهم بإسهال مميت وغيره من عوارض بكتيريا اي-كولاي اكبر بتسع مرات من الأشخاص الذين لم يتناولها.
وأشار مسؤولون من السلطات الصحية إلى انه تم إجراء تحاليل "متعددة" في الحقول وفي منتجات مزرعة غارتنرهوف البيولوجية في بياننبوتل بشمال ألمانيا والمشتبه بها منذ بضعة أيام، لم تثبت بشكل قاطع وجود البكتيريا إلا أن المؤشرات المتعاقبة واضحة إلى حد بات بالإمكان تحديد مصدر البكتيريا.
في المقابل، أتت آلاف التحاليل التي أجريت على عينات من الطماطم والخيار والسلطات سلبية. لذلك أعلنت الهيئات الصحية رفع التحذير من استهلاك هذه الأطعمة منذ الجمعة.
وصرح احد المسؤولين في المعاهد الثلاثة: المكتب الفدرالي لحماية المستهلكين، وهيئة الأمن الغذائي، والمعهد الفدرالي لتقييم المخاطر أن "معاهدنا الثلاثة متفقة على القول إن الحاجة زالت لإبقاء التحذير.
وأشار بورغر إلى أن مصدر البكتيريا لم يعد ناشطا على ما يبدو، وعدد حالات الإصابة الجديدة في تراجع. وقال إن وحدها البراعم هي المصدر وليس هناك دليل جدي آخر للتحقيق بشأنه.
من جهته، أعلن جوزيه مانويل باروزو أن روسيا قررت رفع الحظر على واردات الخضار من الاتحاد الأوروبي.
وصرح باروز في أعقاب قمة بين الاتحاد الأوروبي وروسيا في نيجني نوفغورود نحن سعداء بالتوصل الى اتفاق لرفع الحظر على الخضار الاوروبية الذي فرضته موسكو الأسبوع الماضي.
وانعكس التحذير من استهلاك الخيار والطماطم والسلطات الذي صدر في ألمانيا في 25 ماي بسبب انتشار الإصابة ببكتيريا اي-كولاي النزفية، خسائر بمئات ملايين اليورو بين المزارعين الأوروبيين بعد الامتناع عن استهلاك منتجاتهم خصوصا الاسبانية منها لان ألمانيا اتهمت خطا عند بدء ظهور الإصابات خضروات اسبانية بأنها مصدر البكتيريا.
