رسالة القذافي إلى الكونغرس

تحدث القذافي في رسالة وجهها الى الكونغرس ووقعها بصفته "قائد الثورة العظمى"، عن الجدل المتزايد حول ما اذا كان أوباما تجاوز صلاحياته الدستورية بإشراك قوات امريكية في النزاع دون تفويض من الكونغرس.

وقال الزعيم الليبي في الرسالة التي لم يوجهها الى اي عضو محدد في الكونغرس واطلعت عليها وكالة فرانس برس، انه تابع "باهتمام كبير" المناقشات في الكونغرس حول المشاركة الامريكية في الهجوم على قواته.

وأضاف "نحن واثقون من ان التاريخ سيشهد على حكمة بلادكم في مناقشة هذه القضايا"، وأكدت مصادر عدة في الكونغرس ان الرسالة وصلت، الا انها لم تؤكد صحتها.

وقال الناطق باسم الاغلبية الديمقراطية في مجلس الشيوخ هاري ريد "تلقينا رسالة ونمضي وقتاً طويلاً في التحقق من صحتها لأننا لا نكترث بما يقوله لنا ما لم يكن استقالته".

وفي رسالته أكد القذافي ان ليبيا تعول على "كونغرس الولايات المتحدة لمواصلة التحقيق في نشاطات الحلف الاطلسي وحلفائهم" في عمليات اودت بحياة 700 مدني، على حد قوله.

وكتب الزعيم الليبي ان "عمليات من هذا النوع تشكل تدخلات غير مشروعة وغير مناسبة في ما هو حرب اهلية اساساً"، وأضاف "ندعو الى وقف لإطلاق النار وتأمين مساعدة انسانية".

كما طلب القذافي مساعدة "لتشجيع وتعميق العلاقات بين الاطراف في ليبيا التي تواجه خلافاً حالياً"، فيما أكد ان حكومته مستعدة لإجراء مناقشات مع مسؤولي المعارضة تحت إدارة الولايات المتحدة "لوقف التدمير" والتقدم باتجاه السلام.
