ثوار ليبيا يمهلون الكتائب حتى السبت للاستسلام أو القتال

أمهل رئيس المجلس الوطني الإنتقالي الليبي مصطفى عبد الجليل القوات الموالية للعقيد معمر القذافي حتى السبت المقبل لتسليم المدن التي تسيطر عليها وإلا تعرضت لعمل عسكري لحسم الأمور.
وقال عبد الجليل في مؤتمر صحفي "بداية من السبت القادم إذا لم تكن هناك بوادر سلمية لتنفيذ هذا الأمر على الواقع فإننا باستطاعتنا حسم الموضوع عسكريا. نحن لا نتمنى ذلك ولكن أيضا لا نصبر أكثر من ذلك".
واقترب الثوار الليبيون من مدينة سرت من جهتي الشرق والغرب، لكنهم أحجموا عن شن هجوم شامل على المدينة أملا في ترتيب استسلام عن طريق التفاوض.
وقال الثوار إن المفاوضات ما زالت جارية مع كبار عشائر المدينة لدخولها دون قتال مشيرين إلى أنهم يتقدمون ببطء نحو المدينة لإعطاء فرصة للمفاوضات.
ويعد دخول الثوار مدينة سرت، مسقط رأس القذافي، ذا أهمية إستراتيجية ورمزية بالنسبة لهم في سعيهم لتعزيز قبضتهم على جميع أنحاء ليبيا.
من جهته قال المتحدث باسم الجيش الوطني الليبي أحمد باني إن كتائب القذافي المتمركزة في مدينة سرت ترفض الاستسلام حتى الآن, وأضاف أن أمامهم مهلة حتى السبت المقبل للاستسلام أو مواجهة خيارات أخرى، وأعلن حلف شمال الأطلسي أن طائراته تكثف غاراتها على المدينة منذ ثلاثة أيام.
