تسببت صورة تعبيرية لكلب يضع "شماغاً" عرضها بروفيسور أمريكي أثناء محاضرة في جامعة سعودية في إثارة غضب الحضور ومغادرته القاعة، ما حال دون إكمال المحاضرة ودفع البروفيسور إلى مغادرة المملكة في اليوم نفسه.


وعرض الأستاذ في جامعة ولاية أوهايو الأمريكية جوزيف ويليامز أثناء تقديمه محاضرة عن تأثير التغيير المناخي على الحيوانات الصحراوية في المملكة، في قاعة جامعة الطائف غرب السعودية، صورة كلب يعيش في مناخ أمريكي، أعقبها بصورة للكلب نفسه وهو يرتدي "شماغاً" و"عقالاً"سعوديين،فيإشارةإلىتأثيرالمناخالمحليعلىالكلاب.

وذكرت صحيفة "الوطن" السعودية أن هذا الأمر أثار غضب بعض الحضور ما أدى إلى إخراج المحاضرة عن سياقها، وشنّ بعض الحاضرين حملة اعتراض على المحاضر الأمريكي لما اعتبروه سخرية صريحة من الهوية الوطنية السعودية.

وقال رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية علوم الحياة السعودية الدكتور إبراهيم عارف إنه "تم إيقاف البروفيسور ومنعه من إكمال محاضرته وطُلب منه الاعتذار، وهو ما فعله مرتين"، مضيفاً أن "الأخير أكد أنه حصل على الصورة من أحد زملائه السعوديين، وأنها موجودة على الأنترنت، وأنه ذهل لردة الفعل لاعتقاده بأنها محض صورة لا يفترض أن تثير سوى الطرافة".

وفيما أوقف المحاضر وأبلغ بأنه غير مرحببه ،أوضح عارف أن الأزمة تعود إلى اختلاف الثقافات

اولا عليه ان يكبر مع هذا الشعب يعني معاناته منذ صباه و يتسلق الحكم كالرجال فكل رؤساء مصر تدرجوا عبر العسكرية و كلهم خبروا الحروب و حسني مبارك هذا مثلا الذي نكره لا ننسى انه كاد يموت بصحراء الجزائر بعد اسقاط طائرته من قبل طائرات المغرب و وقع اسيرا ، ثم شارك في حروب ضد الصهاينة و كان قائد السلاح الجوي هناك ( حكاية احتكاره البطل القومي تلك مشكلة مؤرخي مصر ) ..

ثم عليه ان يواجه افواه الملايين و مطالبهم و الضغوط الدوليه عليه و اي ضغوط ضغوط امريكا و بريطانيا و مكائد و دسائس اليهود و العربان بالخصوص من وقع منذ لورنس ...

و مصر ليست البرازيل او الصين او الهند فهي بموارد زراعية محدودة رغم النيل و كذا اراضي اغلبها صحراوية مع مكائد الغرب الاقتصادية لو عادتهم ...

ماذا كان يفعل هذا ، هل كان سيقف مع المصريين امام المخابز ام كان ليدخلهم كلهم القصر الرئاسي في افطار مليوني جماعي كل يوم ؟

ام كان سيتهلك اضعاف ما يستهلك حسني مبارك و ابنائه مرة واحدة و نحن نعرف التخمة التي تكاد تقتله هو و جميع افراد عائلته ، يعني ميزانية طعام المصريين كانت لتذهب لبطنه وحده cupidarrowcupidarrow
