سيف الإسلام دفع 5 ,1 مليون دولار لوزير بريطاني مقابل أتعاب عن استشارات قانونية


كشفت ''الصنداي تايمز'' البريطانية رسالة وجهها وزير الدفاع والتجارة، في حكومة مارغريت تاتشر، اللورد تريغفارن، إلى سيف الإسلام القذافي يطلب منه مليون جنيه إسترليني (5, 1 مليون دولار) مقابل أتعابه وأتعاب البروفسور روبرت بلاك.
وكان اللورد وقتذاك رئيسا لمجلس الأعمال البريطاني ـ الليبي. وتؤكد الصحيفة أن الرسالة وجدت في بيت ريفي في ضواحي طرابلس ملكا لسيف الإسلام. وتشير الرسالة إلى أن علاقات اللورد مع الحكومة الليبية تعود إلى سنة 2001
وضغط لورد تريغفارن على الحكومة الأسكتلندية للإفراج عن عبد الباسط المقرحي، المتورط في قضية لوكربي. حيث قال للحكومة، في 2009 إن وفاته في السجن تكون لها عواقب سلبية على العلاقات البريطانية ـ الليبية.
واعترف الرجلان بقبض المبلغ، لكنهما قالا إن الأموال كانت مقابل أتعاب عن استشارات قانونية قدمها لفريق الدفاع عن المقحري. فيما أكد بلاك على دوره في الاستشارة القانونية فقط. لكنهما يقولان إنهما لم يكونا على دراية بأن الأموال ليبية. واعترف الوزير السابق في حكومة تاتشر أنه التقي معمر القذافي ونجله سيف الإسلام عدة مرات.
