قتيل وجرحى في انفجار نووي بفرنسا


قتل شخص واحد وجرح أربعة آخرون، أمس الإثنين، في انفجار فرن داخل موقع ''ماركول'' النووي جنوبي فرنسا، على بعد ثمانين كيلومترا من ساحل البحر الأبيض المتوسط. بينما استبعدت وكالة السلامة النووية الفرنسية حدوث تسرب إشعاعي للخارج نتيجة للانفجار.
أعلنت وكالة السلامة النووية الفرنسية أن فرنا انفجر، صباح أمس الإثنين، بموقع ''سنتراكو'' لمعالجة نفايات الكهرباء التابع لشركة ''إي دي أف'' للكهرباء، الواقع بالقرب من مركز ''ماركول'' للأبحاث النووية، والذي لا يضم أي مفاعلات نووية. وأدى الانفجار إلى سقوط قتيل واحد وأربعة جرحى، إصابة أحدهم وصفت بالخطيرة. وأكدت مصادر رسمية فرنسية أن الانفجار وقع نتيجة اندلاع حريق بالقرب من أحد الأفران في موقع تخزين النفايات الإشعاعية، موضحة أن الفرن يستخدم لإعادة صهر المخلّفات النووية التي تتراوح مستويات إشعاعها بين ''منخفضة'' و''شديدة الارتفاع''. وتنتج المنشأة وقود ''موكس'' الذي يقوم بتدوير مادة اليورانيوم الناتج عن الأسلحة النووية، وتعتبر موقعا نوويا رئيسيا مختصا في تفكيك المنشآت والأجهزة النووية. وأقام رجال الإطفاء طوقا أمنيا حول موقع الحادث، تحسّبا لأية مخاطر يمكن أن تنجم عن تسرب إشعاعي محتمل في المنشأة. وبينما أشارت السلطات المحلية إلى مخاطر حدوث تسرب نووي، أكدت الشرطة الفرنسية عدم تسجيل تلوّث خارج الموقع الذي يقع بجوار نهر الرون، على بعد 30 كيلومترا من مدينة أفينيون، أي على بعد 80 كيلومترا فقط من ساحل البحر الأبيض المتوسط، مؤكدة احتواء الحريق بالكامل داخل الفرن، في غضون وقت وجيز. ونقلت وكالة الأنباء الفرنسية عن متحدث باسم وكالة السلامة النووية الفرنسية عدم وجود أي تسرب نووي، بينما أكد متحدث باسم وزارة الطاقة الذرية بأن الحادث لم يسفر عن تسرب إشعاعي، قائلا: ''لم يتم إلى حد الآن تسجيل أية تسربات خارجية''.
لكن موقع ''أنباء موسكو'' الإلكتروني نقل عن مسؤول بالوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية قوله إن مستوى التسرب الإشعاعي للحادث ''مازال غير كبير''، ما يرجح فرضية وجود تسرّب نووي قد تكون عواقبه وخيمة على منطقة البحر الأبيض المتوسط.
يذكر أن فرنسا التي تعتبر إحدى أكبر دول العالم اعتمادا على الطاقة النووية، أجرت اختبارات للتحمل على مفاعلاتها التي يبلغ عددها 58 عقب كارثة مفاعل ''فوكوشيما'' باليابان، في مارس الماضي.
