قف بوجه المآسي فلم تزل يا سيدي نبراسي

كما علمتني يا أبي أن ابق شامخا رغم كل شيء

فلا المرض ولا الألم عليك سيقوى

قف يا أب كتلك النخلة العتيقة في بستانك الذي أحببت

قف يا أبت فأنت مشرّش في وجداننا

ومنك تعلمت أن اجلد على الأهوال

وأن أواجه ما أخاف . .
