القذافي ضمن قائمة أشهر الخطباء في تاريخ البشرية

قالت مجلة "فورين بولسي" الأمريكية إن الأمم المتحدة وبصفتها منبرا دوليا، شهدت عشرة أهم خطابات، أبرزها على الإطلاق خطاب العقيد الليبي، معمر القذافي، الذي "أفتى" فيه
لمدة 45 دقيقة أمام قادة العالم.
قالت "فورين بولسي"، إن جنون القذافي "دخل التاريخ" وإن العالم لن ينسى أبدا خطابه، كما لايزال يتذكر العالم الخطاب الذي كاد يقتل السفير الهندي فى عام 1957 والذي جاء فيه: "مجلس الأمن يتعامل مع هذا الأمر على أنه نزاع. هذا ليس نزاعا على الأراضي.
هناك مشكلة واحدة أمامكم... وتلك هي مشكلة عدوان" وهو الخطاب الذي ألقاه السفير الهندي، كريشنا مينون، أمام مجلس الأمن لفترة تعتبر قياسية إلى اليوم، إذ دامت ثماني ساعات بأكملها كان يتحدث فيها عن مشكلة كشمير مع باكستان.
والواقع أن السفير ما كان ليتوقف عند هذا الحد لولا أنه سقط مغشيا عليه من الإعياء، فنقل إلى المستشفى حيث عولج وأعيد ليواصل خطابه لفترة ساعة أخرى. أما الغرض من كل هذا فكان مجرد تكتيك لتأخير التصويت على قرار يتعلق بالإقليم المتنازع عليه.
كما نافست القذافي أيضا خطاب كاسترو ودرسه لجون كنيدي في عام 1960، وخروتشوف يكشر عن أنيابه في عام 1960 ويرفع حذاءه في الأمم المتحدة وياسر عرفات يفسد بهجة إسرائيل فى عام 1974، شافيز الذي قال إنه يشتم رائحة الشيطان في عام 2006. وأخيرا خطاب القذافي الذي قالت المجلة إنه أفتى فيه بأشياء جديدة ولم يقدم خطابا عاديا. وذكرت المجلة جزءا من خطاب القذافي سنة 2009 من داخل مبنى الأمم المتحدة قال فيه القذافي: "هذا ليس مجلس الأمن وإنما يجب أن يسمّوه مجلس الإرهاب". وفي خطابه الذي استمر 100 دقيقة، قدم العقيد مظالم امتدت تواريخها على مدى نصف القرن، بما فيها أن الولايات المتحدة هي التي تقف وراء إنفلونزا الخنازير، وتسترها على قاتل جون كنيدي، وصب جام غضبه على مجلس الأمن فشبهه بتنظيم "القاعدة" باعتبار أن كليهما إرهابي، وذلك في العام الذي شهد أيضا تصدره العناوين الرئيسية بمحاولاته الفاشلة نصب خيمته في أي عدد من أحياء نيويورك التي اختارها.
