الفكرة العامة:
وقوع اشعب في ورطة بوسط طمعه وتطفله.
الافكار الاساسية:
1-انضمام اشعب الى جماعة رجال طمعه في الوليمة.
2-اكتشاف اشعب بوجوده مع الزنادقة الذين سيعدمون بامر من امير المؤمنين.
3-اندهاش امير المؤمنين من وجود اشعب مع رجال الذين حكموا عليهم بالاعدام.
4-نغمة اشعب على بطنه الذي كان سببا في ورطته في هذه الورطة.
المغزى:
1-الطمع يفسد الطبع.
2-الجشع و الطمع صفتان ذميمتان تحطان من قيمة الانسان.
