قوات بريطانية خاصة تطارد سيف الاسلام

لندن- (يو بي اي): ذكرت صحيفة صندي اكسبريس الصادرة الأحد أن قوات خاصة بريطانية تطارد سيف الاسلام نجل العقيد معمر القذافي، بعد سقوط مدينة سرت الخميس الماضي.

وقالت الصحيفة إن وحدة صغيرة من القوات الخاصة البريطانية والفرنسية كانت تقوم بمطاردة القذافي، وطُلب منها نقل تركيزها إلى سيف الاسلام بعد مقتل الزعيم الليبي السابق.

واضافت أن سيف الاسلام، المطلوب بتهم ارتكاب جرائم حرب، قد يكون أُصيب بجروح في غارة شنتها مقاتلة من طراز (تورنادو) تابعة لسلاح الجو الملكي البريطاني، رغم أن ذلك لم يتأكد بعد واوردت تقارير أنه قد يكون في طريقه إلى النيجر.

واشارت الصحيفة إلى أن سيف الإسلام، الذي وصفته بـ(المليونير المستهتر)، هو الوحيد من كبار أفراد عائلة القذافي الباقي على قيد الحياة بعد مقتل والده وشقيقه المعتصم، وهروب شقيقته وأخوته الثلاثة إلى الجزائر والنيجر.

ونسبت إلى مصدر أمني قوله "إن فريقاً من نحو ثمانية جنود من القوات الخاصة البريطانية والفرنسية كان يطارد القذافي وصولاً إلى النقطة حيث تعرض موكبه لهجوم وقُتل في وقت لاحق، وطُلب منه نقل تركيزه على الفور إلى سيف الاسلام".

وكانت تقارير صحيفة كشفت أن جهاز الأمن الخارجي البريطاني (إم آي 6) وشرطة سكوتلند يارد انقذتا سيف الاسلام من مؤامرة اغتيال خططت لها جماعة اسلامية على الأراضي البريطانية.

وقالت إن الحكومة البريطانية نظرت إلى سيف الاسلام كشخصية رئيسية لاخراج ليبيا من العزلة وانهاء سعيها لبناء ترسانة نووية، واشاد مسؤول بريطاني في مذكرة كتبها بتاريخ أيلول/ سبتمبر 2004 بمساهماته في الحوار المستمر بين لندن وطرابلس واعتبرها بناءً للغاية.

واضافت أن جهاز (إم آي 6) والقوات الخاصة البريطانية تشارك في مطاردة سيف الاسلام بعد سقوط نظام والده.
