مئات القتلى وأكثر من ألف جريح في زلزال تركيا

ضرب زلزال قوي بلغت قوته 7.2 درجات أمس الاحد منطقة فان شرق تركيا قرب الحدود مع ايران ما ادى الى اضرار جسيمة وسقوط 217 قتيلا و1090 جريحا بحسب حصيلة اعلنها وزير الداخلية التركي ادريس نعيم شاهين.
وهذا الزلزال هو الاعنف الذي تشهده تركيا منذ سنوات. وكان المعهد الاميركي للجيوفيزياء قدر في بادئ الامر شدة الزلزال ب7,3 درجات ليعود ويخفضها الى 7,2.
واوضح الوزير شاهين ان نحو مئة شخص قتلوا في محافظة فان القريبة من ايران و117 قتلوا في محافظة ارجيس.
وكان رئيس الوزراء التركي رجب طيب اردوغان اعلن في وقت سابق للصحافيين بعد تفقده المنطقة المنكوبة ان 93 شخصا قتلوا في محافظة فان التي تقطنها غالبية من الاكراد فيما قضى 45 شخصا اخرون على الاقل في محافظة ارجيس.
وفي مدينة فان نفسها شعر السكان البالغ عددهم 380 الفا بالزلزال ما اثار "هلعا كبيرا" بحسب رئيس بلدية المدينة بكر كايا الذي اوضح ان شبكات الهاتف تضرت بقوة جراء الزلزال.
وتعرضت مدينة ارجيس نفسها الواقعة على ضفاف بحيرة لأضرار جسيمة اذ انهار 55 مبنى سكنيا ما يثير مخاوف من ارتفاع حصيلة الضحايا.
وقال حسين شيليك نائب رئيس حزب العدالة والتنمية الحاكم ان غالبية الضحايا قضوا في مدينة ارجيس التي كانت الاكثر تضررا جراء الزلزال.
وشاهد مصور من وكالة فرانس برس اضرارا جسيمة في هذه المدينة التي تعد حوالى 100 الف نسمة. وغادر العديد من السكان المدينة التي قطعت عنها التغذية بالتيار الكهربائي. وبقي الناس في الشوارع خوفا من هزات ارتدادية بانتظار الخيم التي وعدت بها السلطات، في جو من البرد بحيث بلغت الحرارة 3 درجات مئوية.
ووعد اردوغان بان "الجهود ستتواصل طوال الليل" لاغاثة المنكوبين.
وتم ارسال نحو 1300 مسعف من 38 مدينة في البلاد و145 سيارة اسعاف وستة ألوية من الجيش وست مروحيات اضافة الى طائرة شحن سي-130 الى المكان.
ووضع الهلال الاحمر في حال تعبئة وارسل خيما ومتطوعين الى المنطقة المنكوبة.
وافادت وسائل اعلامية ان اكثر من 200 معتقل هربوا من السجن الاقليمي في فان مستفيدين من الزلزال، الا ان 50 منهم عادوا الى السجن بعد زيارتهم لعائلاتهم.
وقال مصطفى ارديك رئيس معهد كنديلي للزلازل في اسطنبول "انه زلزال قوي (...) ما بين 500 والف شخص قد يكونوا فارقوا الحياة، الا ان هذا مجرد تقدير".
وحذر علماء الزلازل من انه من المرجح ان يلحق زلزال بهذه القوة اضرارا اكبر في تركيا بسبب عدم تجهيز المنازل المبنية في تركيا لمواجهة خطر الزلازل.
وعرضت دول عدة مساعدتها من بينها الولايات المتحدة واسرائيل التي تمر علاقاتها الدبلوماسية مع انقرة بازمة.
وقال الرئيس الاميركي باراك اوباما في بيان "نقف الى جانب حليفنا التركي في هذه الفترة العصيبة ونحن على استعداد لمساعدة السلطات التركية".
وتبعد مدينة فان اكثر من 1200 كيلومتر عن العاصمة انقرة.
يذكر ان تركيا معرضة للزلازل اذ تقع فوق منطقة زلزالية نشطة.
وفي العام 1999 اسفر زلزالان قويان ضربا المناطق الصناعية المكتظة بالسكان في شمال غرب تركيا عن سقوط نحو 20 الف قتيل.
كما تسبب زلزال قوي في مدينة جالديران في اقليم فان بمقتل 3840 شخصا العام 1976.
