ذي غارديان: الأسد هو التالي

وصفت صحيفة ذي غارديان البريطانية الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد بأنه أستاذ التأجيل والتحايل وخداع النفس في وقت تتزايد فيه العزلة المفروضة على نظامه، وأوضحت في افتتاحيتها أن الأسد يحاول تأجيل ما يعتبر أمرا محتوما، بإشعال حرب أهلية عندما يشعر بدنو نهايته، وأنه يعرف أنه التالي في السقوط.

وقالت ذي غارديان إنه وبعد مرور أكثر من ثمانية أشهر على اندلاع الثورة الشعبية السورية ضد نظام الأسد، فإن أمورا كثيرة تغيرت على الأرض، ومن أبرزها أن جيشا للثورة قد يكون في تركيا هو "جيش سوريا الحرة"، يقول بدوره إن لديه مقاتلين داخل الأراضي السورية.

ولعل أبرز كتائب ذلك الجيش السوري الجديد هي كتيبة خالد بن الوليد في حمص والتي تتكون من عدة مئات من المقاتلين من الضباط والجنود الذين انشقوا عن جيش الأسد، والذين يقومون بحماية المتظاهرين السوريين السلميين، ويدافعون عن المحتجين عند تعرضهم لهجمات من جانب قوات الأسد، إضافة إلى قيامهم بنصب كمائن لأرتال جيش الأسد التي تهاجم المدن السورية المسالمة.

وأشارت الصحيفة إلى مطالبة المحتجين السوريين الثائرين ضد الأسد حلف شمال الأطلسي بحماية جوية دولية، في ظل انزلاق البلاد أسبوعا بعد آخر نحو حرب أهلية محققة.

وقالت ذي غارديان إن الأسد -كغيرة من الطغاة في آخر أيامهم- يعتمد أسلوب التحايل وخداع النفس وإنكار الحقائق على أرض الواقع، مشيرة إلى مقابلة له مع صحيفة صنداي تلغراف، والتي هدد من خلالها بزلزلة المنطقة وإشعالها.

وأوضحت الصحيفة أن الأسد خسر حلفاء الأمس بدءا بتركيا ثم السعودية، إلى أن خسر الآن جامعة الدول العربية برمتها، إضافة إلى أن حركة المقاومة الإسلامية (جماس) تستعد لحزم حقائبها ومغادرة دمشق، وربما تنتقل بمكاتبها إلى تركيا والأردن وقطر.

وقالت ذي غارديان إن سقوط نظام الأسد يعني أيضا فقدان حزب الله اللبناني شريان الدعم العسكري الحيوي الذي يتلقاه من إيران عبر سوريا.

وأما صعود السنة الذين يشكلون الغالبية في سوريا إلى سدة الحكم في البلاد في مرحلة ما بعد الأسد -والقول للصحيفة- فذلك يعني اهتزاز الأوضاع في كل من العراق ولبنان وإيران، مشيرة إلى بدء مطالبات بعض الأقاليم ذات الغالبية السنية في العراق بالانفصال عن الحكومة الشيعية المركزية في بغداد، وتشكيل أقاليم خاصة بها ذات حكم ذاتي أسوة بإقليم كردستان العراق.

وفي حين اتهمت الصحيفة الأسد بالمبالغة عندما هدد بأن أي تدخل غربي في سوريا، يعني إيجاد "عشر أفغانستانات" أخرى، قالت إن سقوط نظام الأسد يعني خسارة إيران مركز نفوذها في المنطقة برمتها.

وقالت الصحيفة إن الأسد يعلم أنه التالي في السقوط، ولذلك فهو يحاول أن يلعب بكل الأوراق الممكنة، وخاصة الطائفية منها، وإنه يحاول التحايل وتأجيل ما هو محتوم وواقع لا محالة ممثلا بسقوط نظامه، وخاصة في ظل ما وصفتها بتداعيات لسعات العقوبات الاقتصادية.



واختتمت ذي غارديان بالقول إنه لا بديل عن الحرب الأهلية في سوريا، وإن تلك الحرب لن تكون من خلال تدخل الناتو، ولكن شرارتها تنطلق عندما يشعر الأسد أنه انتهى، وعندما يشعر أن أمله في النجاة والبقاء لا يتأتى سوى بموافقته على حكومة انتقالية وانتخابات حرة في البلاد.

من جانبها أشارت صحيفة ذي وول ستريت جورنال إلى مطالبة الشعب السوري الثائر المجتمع الدولي بحماية المدنيين الذين يتعرضون للقتل على أيدي نظام الأسد في سوريا، داعيا إلى حماية على شكل مراقبين إنسانيين أو قوات حفظ سلام في البلاد.

كما أشارت إلى تجاهل الأسد للضغوط الدولية وإلى تحذيره بزلزلة المنطقة وإحراقها برمتها في حال أي تدخل عسكري غربي لإسقاط نظامه.
