حثت جمعيتان فرنسيتان الثلاثاء الحكومة الفرنسية على التدخل لحماية السكان السود في ليبيا الذين وقعوا ضحية "تجاوزات"، كما طالبتا بفتح تحقيق دولي بهذا الشأن.

وقال المجلس التمثيلي لجمعيات السود في بيان "في الوقت الذي يجري العمل على اقامة حكم جديد في طرابلس بدعم من فرنسا، تقع تجاوزات عنصرية تستهدف السكان السود وتنقلها وسائل الاعلام والمنظمات الانسانية العاملة على الارض".

واضاف البيان "ترتكب عمليات قتل واعمال سرقة واعتقالات اعتباطية وممارسات غير انسانية بحق السكان السود في الشوارع في كل انحاء البلاد وخصوصا في طرابلس".

ولمن لم يقتنع بوجود ذوي البشرة السمراء في افريقيا عليه ان ينظر في التركيبة السكانية للسكان والعرقيات والاجناس في ليبيا كما هو مبين في الاتي :
يتركب الشعب الليبي المعاصر من خمس اجناس مختلفة بشكل رئيسي وهم الليبو (وهم السكان القدماء الذين عرف باسم التمحو ثم الليبو ثم الامازيغ وأخيرا البربر)، العرب، كراغلة، التبو, أوروبيون.

يشكل العرب نسبة (70% - 75%) تقريبا من مجمل السكان.
يشكل الليبو نسبة (24% - 26%) تقريبا من السكان. " افارقة سمر "
يشكل الكراغلة نسبة (2.5% - 3%) تقريبا من السكان." أفارقة سمر "
يشكل التبو نسبة (1% - 1.5%) تقريبا من السكان. "افارقة سمر "
يشكل الأوروبيون نسبة (0.4% - 0.7%) تقريبا من السكان.
