بريطانيا تستعد لضربة محتملة لإيران

قالت صحيفة ذي غارديان البريطانية إنها تلقت معلومات عن قيام القوات المسلحة البريطانية بتصعيد استعداداتها الوقائية تحسبا لعمل عسكري محتمل ضد إيران وسط مخاوف متصاعدة من برنامجها النووي.

وتعتقد وزارة الدفاع البريطانية أن الولايات المتحدة قد تمضي قدما في ضربات صاروخية على مواقع نووية إيرانية مختارة، وأن الولايات المتحدة في هذه الحال سوف تطلب مساعدة ودعم بريطانيا التي ستقوم بذلك رغم وجود تحفظات عميقة إزاء هذا الشأن في الائتلاف الحكومي البريطاني.

ويقوم الخبراء العسكريون البريطانيون حاليا بدراسة مواقع نشر قطع البحرية الملكية البريطانية وغواصاتها المجهزة بصواريخ توماهوك، في خطوة يراها الخبراء على أنها جزء من عملية جوية وبحرية عسكرية.

ويعتقد العسكريون البريطانيون أن الأميركيين سوف يطلبون إذنا باستخدام قاعدة دييغوغارسيا البريطانية في المحيط الهندي والتي استخدموها من قبل في عمليات عسكرية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط.

وتقول غارديان إنها تحدثت مع عدد من المسؤولين العسكريين والمدنيين البريطانيين وأبلغوها أن إيران أصبحت محط قلق دبلوماسي بعد انتهاء الثورة الليبية. كما ألمحوا أيضا إلى أن الرئيس الأميركي باراك أوباما ليس لديه أي نية لشن هجوم على إيران قبل انتخابات الرئاسة الأميركية في أواخر نوفمبرالمقبل.

لكن المسؤولين البريطانيين أشاروا إلى أن الخطط قد تتغير أكثر من مرة نتيجة المخاوف المتصاعدة من تدفق معلومات استخبارية غربية عن استعدادات إيرانية لتحدي المجتمع الدولي.

ويستعد صقور واشنطن لتلقف التقرير المرتقب للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية الذي يتوقع أن يقدم أدلة على سعي إيران لامتلاك أسلحة نووية، ليتخذوه أساسا لتحرك عسكري.

وتقول غارديان إن مسؤولين أفادوا للصحيفة باعتقادهم أن تقرير الوكالة سوف يقلب الموازين والخطط العسكرية، حيث من المتوقع أن يكشف تفاصيل غير مسبوقة عن البرنامج النووي الإيراني.

وتنقل الصحيفة عن أحد المسؤولين البريطانيين قوله إن إيران أظهرت "تأقلما مفاجئا" في وجه العقوبات المفروضة عليها والخطط الغربية لتحجيم مشروعها النووي، وإن نجاح العقوبات أقل مما كان متوقعا في البداية.

وأضاف المسؤول البريطاني أن "إيران أظهرت شراسة في التعامل في الآونة الأخيرة، ولا نعلم لماذا"، وذكر المسؤول ثلاث خطط اغتيال مزعومة كان عملاء إيرانيون يخططون لتنفيذها في دول أجنبية بحسب معلومات استخباراتية غربية.

وتنقل الصحيفة أيضا عن مسؤولين حكوميين أن إيران استعادت كل ما خسرته في الحرب الإلكترونية التي شنت على حواسيب برنامجها النووي العام الماضي. وتعتقد الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية أن إيران قد تكون أضافت إلى برنامجها عناصر جديدة إضافة إلى استرجاعها لما خسرته في هجوم فيروسات الحاسوب الذي شن عليها.

وأضافت الصحيفة أن مصدرا حكوميا بريطانيا أفاد بأن إيران استغلت السنة الماضية في إخفاء جميع المعدات الضرورية في مخابئ محصنة تحت الأرض، الأمر الذي حفز الخبراء العسكريين البريطانيين على وضع خطط ذات خواص معينة للتعامل مع التحصينات الإيرانية.

يذكر أن إسرائيل حذرت الولايات المتحدة من التلكؤ في شن عمل عسكري على إيران، وينسب إلى وكالات استخبارات غربية اعتقادها أن إسرائيل سوف تطلب مساعدة الولايات المتحدة إذا أدركت أن قوتها الجوية غير قادرة على توجيه ضربة موجعة للبرنامج النووي الإيراني.



وكانت صحيفة نيويورك تايمز الأميركية قد قالت في وقت سابق إن الولايات المتحدة تتطلع إلى زيادة وجودها العسكري في منطقة الخليج العربي بهدف مراقبة إيران.
