وزير الخارجية الأسبق عبد الرحمن شلقم قد أرسل رسالة إلى شخصية سياسية كبيرة موالية للقذافي مقيمة في بلد عربي.
وقال شلقم في رسالته إنه دعم المتمردين على نظام القذافي بنية تحسين وضع ليبيا، لكنه لم يكن يعرف أن الأوضاع ستؤول إلى مثل هذا المستنقع.
وقال شلقم رغم حزننا على كل ما حصل فإننا لا بد أن نتعاون لإنقاذ ما يمكن إنقاذه، مؤكدا أنه يجب السعي إلى تأسيس حلف سياسي موسع يضم ممثلين عن نظام القذافي الذين لهم الكثير من الأتباع والأنصار،بما في ذلك الذراع العسكري والذراع المقاوم، كما يضم شخصيات سياسية عدد شلقم عشرين منها ومنها محمود جبريل الذي يبدو أنه استدار دورة كاملة في الاتجاه الآخر.
كما اقترح شلقم أن يضم الحلف زعماء لبعض القبائل ومسؤولين عن أهالي كل مدينة.
وقال شلقم في رسالته: في واقع الانقسام ستجف شعبية الذين استولوا على ليبيا وسينقلب بعضهم على بعض وسينضم إلينا الكثير منهم، وحينئذ يمكن الحديث عن مصالحة شاملة.
وقال المصدر الذي تلقى الرسالة من شلقم :نحن لا نثق فيه، ولا نعرف كيف وجد الجرأة بعد كل الذي فعله لكي يتواصل معنا، ورغم كل ما حدث فإن تيار القذافي موجود، بينما شلقم وأمثاله انتهوا فلا هم مع تيارنا ولا هم مع أذناب الاحتلال.
وأكد المصدر إن شلقم يبحث عن جهة جديدة بعد أن لم تعد له أي جهة، فالغرب وقطر والإمارات تخلوا عنه، والعصابات في الداخل همشته وتوعدته بالمحاسبة، ونحن نعتبره خائنا مشاركة في الخيانة التي سالت فيها دماء الليبيين ومنهم قائدهم.
وأشار المصدر إلى أن اتصالات حثيثة تجري بين شخصيات ليبية مساندة للشرعية وأخرى قبلية للاتفاق على إطار عمل جديد يتم بموجبه توزيع المهام في شكل حكومة منفى، مؤكدا أن الكثير من الليبيين سيدعمون المؤسسات التي ستقيمها الشرعية قريبا، لأن ذلك واجب للخروج من واقع الغياب والفوضى.
