اتهام شاب بمحاولة اغتيال أوباما

قوات الخدمة السرية المسؤولة عن حراسة البيت الأبيض تراقب الزوار عن كثب


اُتهم شاب أميركي بمحاولة اغتيال الرئيس الأميركي باراك أوباما بعد اعتقاله في إطار التحقيق حول حادث إطلاق نار على البيت الأبيض الأربعاء.
ووجهت لأوسكار راميرو أورتيغا-هيرنانديز أمس الخميس تهمة محاولة اغتيال الرئيس أوباما على خلفية الاشتباه بإطلاقه أعيرة نارية أصابت البيت الأبيض.
وعثر على أوسكار الأربعاء في فندق غربي ولاية بنسلفانيا بعد أن قال جهاز الخدمة السرية إنه اكتشف ثقبا أحدثته رصاصة في إحدى نوافذ البيت الأبيض، وآخر خارج المبنى.
وصار أوسكار مطلوبا لدى الشرطة الأميركية بعد الإبلاغ عن إطلاق أعيرة نارية قرب البيت الأبيض الجمعة الماضي والعثور على سيارته وبداخلها بندقية ومظاريف رصاص فارغة.
وكان أوباما وزوجته ميشال في زيارة إلى سان دييغو بولاية كاليفورنيا (غرب) عند إطلاق النار على البيت الأبيض.
ورغم الإجراءات الأمنية البالغة التشدد عثر على رصاصة عالقة في زجاج إحدى نوافذ البيت الأبيض الواقع بوسط واشنطن، وفق ما أفاد "الجهاز الأمني السري" المكلف حماية أوباما.
وتم توقيف أوسكار قرب إنديانا في بنسلفانيا (شمال شرق) على مسافة 300 كلم من العاصمة، ومثل الخميس أمام محكمة فدرالية في بتسبيرغ بالولاية نفسها، حيث أمر قاض بإبقائه قيد الاعتقال، وفق ما أفاد متحدث باسم وزارة العدل .
ويقيم الشاب أوسكار في ولاية إيداهو (شمال غرب) ويواجه حكما بالسجن المؤبد.
وكان المشتبه به أوسكار، الذي وصف بأنه مريض نفسي، قد أعرب عن كراهيته لأوباما وواشنطن، حسبما ذكرت تقارير إعلامية.
وحسب ما جاء في الشكوى، أفاد شاهد من أصدقاء المشتبه به بأن أوسكار كان يصف الرئيس الأميركي بأنه "شيطان ينبغي التخلص منه". وأضاف الشاهد أن المتهم "كان يعد شيئا ما"، مؤكدا أنه "لن يتوقف حتى إنجاز هذا الأمر".
وقال شاهد آخر من إيداهو إن المشتبه به ازداد "اضطرابا" وكان "على قناعة بأن الحكومة تتآمر عليه"، وأضاف أنه كان يسعى "لإلحاق الأذى" بأوباما الذي كان يصفه أيضا بـ"المسيح الدجال".
وأفاد مكتب مدعي عام بتسبيرغ أنه سينقل أورتيغا الذي وشم اسم "إسرائيل" على عنقه، في غضون بضعة أيام" إلى واشنطن لاستكمال الإجراءات القضائية. ولم تحدد وزارة العدل أي موعد لتوجيه التهمة إليه.
وحسب الشكوى، جرى إطلاق النار الجمعة قرابة الساعة 21:00 بتوقيت غرينتش من منطقة التقاطع بين جادة كونستتيوشن والشارع السابع عشر، بين حديقة إيليبس جنوب البيت الأبيض والمسلة المصرية التي تتوسط ساحة ذي مول المستطيلة الكبيرة وسط العاصمة الفدرالية الأميركية.
وحسب رواية شاعد عيان فإن سائق سيارة قاتمة اللون "أطلق النار في اتجاه البيت الأبيض من نافذة الراكب".
وعثر المحققون بعد دقائق على سيارة هوندا سوداء من طراز أكيور متروكة على جادة كونستتيوشن تحمل لوحة تسجيل من إيداهو تبين أنها مسجلة باسم المشتبه به وكان في داخلها بندقية هجومية شبه أوتوماتيكية وذخيرة.
وجاء في وثيقة الشكوى أنه "عثر على آثار عدة رصاصات على الواجهة الجنوبية للمبنى في الطبقة الثانية أو فوقها"، علما بأن عائلة أوباما الذي يقيم في البيت الأبيض مع زوجته وابنتيهما ووالدة السيدة الأولى تعيش في الطابقين الثاني والثالث.
وأفادت الشكوى بأنه عثر أيضا على "عدة رصاصات وشظايا" في محيط البيت الأبيض.
ويفرض جهاز الأمن السري حراسة مشددة على المقر الرئاسي وينشر قناصة بشكل متواصل على سطحه.
وتعد هذه أول محاولة خطيرة تستهدف الرئيس الأميركي الذي تلقى من قبل تهديدات بالقتل. غير أن البيت الأبيض سبق أن استهدف في عهد رؤساء سابقين.
ووقع أحد أشهر هذه الحوادث في عهد الرئيس بيل كلينتون في أكتوبر1994 حين أطلق فرانسيسكو دوران (26 عاما) أكثر من 20 رصاصة على البيت الأبيض وحكم عليه في السنة التالية بالسجن 40 عاما.
