الاحتلال الفرنسي لمستغانم....سقوط مستغانم عشية الثامن والعشرين من شهر جويلية 1833م

بعد اخضاع الجزائر العاصمة ومدنا ساحلية أخرى جهز الفرنسيون حملتهم من وهران بداية من 23 جويلية 1833 من أجل ضم مستغانم ، حيث انطلقت مراكبهم الشراعية في رحلة عسكرية بحرية مؤلفة من ستة عمارات بحرية تجارية تحميها فرقاطة الإنتصار تحمل 1400 عسكري انطلقت من المرسى الكبير يوم 23 جويلية 1833 محاولة ًالرسو في صلامندر أما القوات البرية المتجهة نحو آرزيو، اصطدمت في طريقها بأهالي القرى المجاورة لوادي سيڤ و الهبرة :" رافدي المقطع "، فالقوات البرية لم تتمكن من الصمود في وجه جيش ديميشال الذي عبر وادي المقطع وتقدم نحو مزغران ،أما السفن البحرية المتجهة نحو مستغانم اعترضتها رياح هوجاء، دفعتها نحو خليج آرزيو وأفقدتها اتجاهها لتنتهي رحلتها بمرسى الحجاج مصب للرياح يوم 24 جوياية 1833 ، أين نصب الغزاة خيامهم ومكثوا طيلة ليلة السابع والعشرين من شهر جويلية بدأت تستعد لتكرار الرحلة، يتأهبون للمعركة بعد أن تمكنت الفرق التقنية العسكرية من إصلاح المراكب المدمَرة تشرع في إنشاء معسكر بالمكان الذي ستبنى فيه القرية الاستيطانية استيديا التي ستعرف بجورج كليمنصو أين نصب الغزاة خيامهم ومكثوا طيلة ليلة السابع والعشرين جويلية 1833 إلى أن حل فجر اليوم الموالي، تستأنف القوات رحلتها، على الساعة الرابعة صباحا بالضبط، ليغادروا استيديا متجهين نحو مزغران ،عند وصولهم اصطدمت فرقهم بحامية عسكرية من عرب وبربر كرا غلة وأتراك لكنها لم تتمكن من الصمود طويلا لتسقط مزغران في يد الاحتلال في28 جويلية 1833 على الساعة الثامنة صباحا ، بعد أن اختر'ق الغزاة أسوارها، تراجع أهالي المدينة نحو الشرق والجنوب لإنقاذ ذرا ريهم تقدمت قوات دي ميشال نحو مدينة مستغانم .


سقوط مستغانم عشية الثامن والعشرين من شهر جويلية 1833م :
بعد سقوط مزغران تقدمت القوات الفرنسية الغازية نحو مستغانم وعند وصولها إلى الضفة الغربية لوادي عين الصفراء اندلعت الاشتباكات مع بقايا جنود الحامية العسكرية التركية من عرب وبربر وكرا غلة وأتراك وأفراد من المتطوعين من أهالي المنطقة ، اشتدت المعارك طيلة نهار الثامن والعشرين من شهر جويلية 1833م إلى غروب شمس ذلك اليوم ، اقتحمت القوات الفرنسية المدينة الشرقية باجتياز وادي عين الصفراء إلى حي المطمر، تشير بعض المصادر التاريخية إلى أن سكان الحي المذكور لاذوا بالفرار مع أبنائهم وأمتعة خفيفة تاركين منازلهم القديمة ،فتوزع الجنود الفرنسيون في حي المطمرالذي شيّد فيه المحتلون العقارات المهجورة منها دور سكنية ومحلات تجارية ، وأقدمت فرق أخرى لتستولي على حصن الشرق ( فور دي لاست أو ما يدعى ببرج الترك ) وفي المدينة السفلى أي الضفة الغربية للوادي تمركزت فرق أخرى من الخط 66التابعة للفيلق الإفريقي الأول والمجموعة الثانية من فرقة الهندسة العسكرية وأخرى من سلاح المدفعية وعناصر من اللفيف الأجنبي ، وكا ن قائد الفيلق آنذاك العقيد بيليسي و الذي سيرتقي إلى رتبة جنرال وكلف النقيب كلاباريد بقيادة نشر أفراد كتيبة لللإستيلاء على وسط المدينة وحصن الشرق ـ فور دو ليست ـ الذي يلقب ببرج الترك ، من أبرز المعالم التاريخية حصن عسكري على قمة هضبة تعلو حي المطمر تطل على الضفة الشرقية لوادي عين الصفراء يسيطر بموقعه على حي العرصة ، لقد كان الحصن محل اهتمام من قبل الحامية العسكرية التركية ، التي أدخلت عليه عدة ترميمات وإصلاحات ، وعند دخول الجيش الفرنسي مدينة مستغانم عشية الثامن والعشرين من شهر جويلية 1833م اتٌخذ كمعسكر ، تحصن فيه 2000جندي فرنسي، بعد تنصيب غرف من البناء الجاهز، أشغال استعجالية نفذتها فرق الهندسة العسكرية لإيوائهم كما هيأت اصطبلات لـ 1800حصان واستمرت العملية إلى سنة 1841م عندما استقبل حي المطمر فرقة عسكرية أخرى قادمة من وهران قوامها 3000جندي
