قال مسؤولون ليبيون إن سيف الإسلام القذافي أصبح ورقة مساومة بين الجهات الرسمية والثوار الذين تمكنوا من القبض عليه يوم الجمعة الماضية في جنوبي البلاد ويرفضون تسلميه إلى طرابلس، حسب صحيفة تايمز البريطانية.

ونسبت الصحيفة إلى المسؤولين قولهم إن مفاوضات مكثفة جرت بين الطرفين من أجل ضمان حصول الثوار على نصيب في الحكومة المقبلة التي ستعلن قريبا.

وأشارت صحيفة تايمز إلى أن ثوار الزنتان قد يسعون لمبادلة سيف الإسلام وتسليمه للجهات الرسمية مقابل منحهم وزارة الدفاع.

وكان رئيس المجلس العسكري في الزنتان محمد الكباش قال إن سيف الإسلام سيبقى تحت إشرافهم حتى يتم الانتهاء من إقامة نظام قضائي مناسب من أجل محاكمته، وهو ما أثار حفيظة الحكومة في طرابلس.

أما المتحدث باسم المجلس الوطني الإنتقالي عبد الرحمن بوسن فقال "إذا كانت الزنتان أفضل مكان آمن لسيف الإسلام، فليكن ذلك، ولكن المجلس الانتقالي هو صاحب القرار. أما إذا رفض أهالي الزنتان تسليمه، فهذا سيمثل مشكلة طفيفة".

وأوضح أن مصدر القلق الرئيس يتمثل في توفير الحماية له من أي نوع من الانتقام مثل الذي لقيه والده في سرت الشهر الماضي.

وأضاف أن ثمة الكثير من الأموال التي فقدت والأسرار التي لم تنكشف بسبب موت القذافي "لذلك من الأهمية بمكان أن يبقى سيف الإسلام حيا لما لديه من معلومات".
