هذا كتاب رائع حاول من خلاله الكاتب الكبير مصطفى محمود تقريب مفهوم النسبية للقارئ العربي هذا المفهوم الذي جاء به العالم ألبرت أنشتين والذي أثار ضجة كبيرة حتى الآن من خلال الآفاق التي فتحها ومن أعظمها....السفر عبر الزمن...

... نرى أحيانا أشياء لا وجود لها فبعض النجوم التي نراها تبعد عنا بمقدار 500 مليون سنة ضوئية أي أن الضوء المنبعث منها يحتاج الى 500مليون سنة لكي يصل الى عيوننا وبالتالي فالضوء الذي نلمحها به خرج منها منذ هذا العدد الهائل من السنين فنحن لا نراها في الحقيقة و إنما نرى ماضيها السحيق الموغل في القدم أما ماهيتها الآن فالله وحده يعلم ربما تكون قد انفجرت فلا يمكننا أن نعلم حالها الآن إلا بمرور 500مليون سنة...

الكتاب غزير جدا بمثل هذه الحقائق فتبدو بعضها من نسج خيال الكاتب أو رواية من روايات الخيال العلمي إلا أنها حقائق علمية بحتة إستطاع الأستاذ مصطفى محمود أن يسردها بأسلوب شيق وممتع.
