معتقلو سيف الإسلام يرفضون تسليمه

أبدى المسؤولون المحليون بمدينة الزنتان إصرارهم على عدم تسليم سيف الإسلام القذافي بعد اعتقاله يوم الجمعة الماضي على أيدي ثوار المدينة جنوبي البلاد، وهو ما يشكل تحديا لسلطات النظام الجديد، حسب صحيفة ذي إندبندنت.

وقالت الصحيفة البريطانية إن تمسك ثوار الزنتان بالاحتفاظ بسيف الإسلام ومحاكمته بالمدينة يكشف الصعوبات التي يواجهها قادة ليبيا الجدد في فرض إرادتهم على القوات المسلحة المحلية والمجالس التي كانت تمثل السلطات الفعلية منذ انطلاق الثورة في فيفري الماضي.

ونقلت ذي إندبندنت عن مسؤولين محليين في الزنتان قولهم إن محاكمة سيف القذافي قد تجري في الزنتان التي تبعد نحو ساعتين بالسيارة إلى الجنوب من طرابلس العاصمة.

وقال رئيس مجلس المدينة للصحيفة عثمان التركي "لدينا نظام جيد هنا، ولدينا محاكم مناسبة وقضاة أكفاء، فلماذا ينبغي نقله إلى مكان آخر؟".

ورغم أن المحكمة الوحيدة للزنتان قد اشتعلت فيها النيران خلال الثورة فإن التركي يؤكد أن كل شيء سيكون جاهزا من أجل المحاكمة.

وتساءل التركي قائلا "الزنتان هي جزء من ليبيا، فلماذا يؤخذ (سيف الإسلام) إلى طرابلس؟ هنا يوجد مجلس محلي واحد، في حين أن ثمة ما بين 15 وعشرين مجلسا عسكريا في طرابلس".

أما اسامة جويلي -وهو عضو باللجنة العسكرية بالمدينة- فقال "أنا أفضل أن يحاكم هنا في الزنتان، ولكن في النهاية يبقى القرار بيد الحكومة".

ورأت الصحيفة أن عجز المجلس الوطني الإنتقالي عن دمج القوى المختلفة التي ظهرت في أعقاب الثورة، وعن الموافقة على حكومة جديدة، يطرح تساؤلا بشأن قدرة المجلس على قيادة ليبيا فترة ما بعد الحرب.



وتشير إلى أن الزنتان مدينة فقيرة حيث يحرص رجالها على ارتداء الزي الشعبي أو العسكري، ويأتي دخلهم الرئيس من المواشي والجمال التي ترعى بالحقول الصخرية في أطراف المدينة.

وتقول الصحيفة إن مقاتلي الزنتان بدؤوا منذ أن وضعت الحرب أوزارها يجوبون ليبيا، ويحافظون على وجودهم في طرابلس حيث يوفرون الحماية للمطار ويقيمون نقاط تفتيش.

وجاء القبض على سيف الإسلام كآخر خطوة ناجحة يحققها مقاتلو الزنتان، ويمكن -كما يرى مراقبون- أن يستخدموها للحصول على امتيازات سياسية.
