Carrière sportive
M. Benchedad Bendihba , Ex cadre de la santé « ex chef de service des entrées à l’hopital de Mosta », il a pris sa retraite en 1998. D’après ses amis , Bendhiba a été un homme imcomparable , intègre , honnete et courageux. Sa compétence en tant que joueur, arbitre ou responsable lui a permis d’etre respeté à travers tout le pays.

Cet enfant de Beymouth débuta sa carriére sportive comme gardien de but à L’IST Mosta avec qui il gagna la coupe d’Oranie de minimes en 1952, avec Celtin Olivier .Il portera les couleurs de club jusqu’en 1956.En1962 , il reprit du service avec le CA Mosta (62 – 65) ou il fut appelé en sélection d’Oranie. En 1965 , M.Benchedad a intégré le corps arbitral ou son sérieux lui a valu la nomination d’arbitre fédéral en 1972. Une méchante blessure contractée au stade des 5 Martyrs l’obligea à arreter l’arbitrage (1978) .


En 1979, il présida la commission des arbitres de Mosta tout en étant conseiller du président de LFW Mosta , Il fut formateur et inspecteur national des arbitre au niveau de la FAF .

En 2002 , il mit fin à sa carrière sportivepour s’occuper davantage de sa famille (8 enfants qui sont actuellement des cadres).


Le 4 Octobre 2006 à 18h à l’age de 69 ans Benchedad Bendehiba nous à quitter celui qui a fait rever la jeunesse du corp arbitral Bencheddad est un homme d’une haute sensibilité, d’un patriotisme sans faille, et surtout d’une ouverture d’esprit remarquable.

Le décès de Bencheddad fut une grande perte, car ses connaissances dans le domaine n’ont pas été exploitées.

Son comportement sera un exemple pour les jeunes arbitres du pays .


Dors en paix M.Bendehiba, personne ne peut te te peut te rapprocher quoi que se soit. Nous ne t’oublierons jamais….
