العراق يودع القوات الأميركية

انسحاب لقوات أميركية من قاعدة فيكتوري في 20 نوفمبر الماضي

سلمت القوات الأميركية قاعدة معسكر فيكتوري قرب بغداد، بعد يوم من مراسم متواضعة احتفل فيها العراق رسميا بحضور جوزيف بايدن نائب الرئيس الأميركي بانسحاب القوات الأميركية بعد نحو تسع سنوات من غزوها لهذا البلد.

فقد أعلن الكولونيل باري جونسون المتحدث باسم القوات الأميركية بالعراق أنه "جرى صباح اليوم الجمعة وبشكل رسمي تسليم قاعدة معسكر فيكتوري إلى الحكومة العراقية" مضيفا أن "هذه القاعدة لم تعد تحت السيطرة الأميركية وباتت في عهدة الحكومة العراقية بشكل كامل" لافتا إلى أنه لم يكن هناك أي احتفال بل مجرد توقيع على أوراق التسليم.

وقالت متحدثة أخرى باسم القوات الأميركية المقدم آنجيلا فونارو "إن الجنود الأميركيين بدأوا مغادرة القاعدة الخميس" بينما نقلت القاعدة الجوية المحاذية لفيكتوري إلى سلطة وزارة الخارجية" مع بقاء عدد محدود من الجنود الأميركيين فيها.


وتضم قاعدة معسكر فيكتوري -وتعني بالعربية النصر- مجموعة من القصور والبحيرات الاصطناعية، وقد تمركز فيها كبار القادة العسكريين الأميركيين الذين خدموا في العراق، وخصوصا في قصري العز والفاو حيث كانت تقع قيادة العمليات الكبرى.

وكانت تستخدم القاعدة أيضا لإحياء مناسبات مختلفة، بينها تلك التي جرت الخميس بمناسبة "يوم الوفاء" احتفاء بالانسحاب الأميركي.

وتضم القاعدة أيضا منزلين تحول أحدهما الى سجن للرئيس العراقي الراحلصدام حسين، علما بأن واجهة المنزل الخارجية بقيت مدمرة حتى لا يشك أحد في وجود سجن سري بهذا المكان.


وشهد قصر الفاو بالمنطقة الخضراء أمس الخميس مراسم متواضعة لوداع القوات الأميركية بحضور الرئيس العراقي جلال الطالباني ورئيس الحكومة نوري المالكي، وجوزيف بايدن نائب الرئيس الأميركي وعدد من الوزراء والنواب العراقيين والسفراء العاملين بالعراق وكبار القادة العسكريين العراقيين والأميركيين.

وعبر الرئيس الطالباني في كلمته عن الامتنان للشعب الأميركي مؤكدا أن العراق سيبقى صديقا للولايات المتحدة، ويتطلع "لمرحلة جديدة من التعاون وضعت ملامحها وآفاقها في اتفاقية الإطار الإستراتيجي المعقودة بين الدولتين".

أما نائب الرئيس الأميركي فقد قال في كلمته إن العراق أصبح بسيادة كاملة، وهو واحد من أربع دول بالشرق الأوسط تمتلك السلاح الأميركي المتطور، وواحد من عشر دول في العالم بهذا المجال.

وأضاف أن بلاده "تتمتع اليوم بعلاقة عميقة مع العراق الذي كانت تربطه بالولايات المتحدة فيما مضي رفقة سلاح وحرب وأصبحا اليوم مرتبطين بصداقة متينة".

وكان بايدن قد وصل بغداد الأربعاء في زيارة مفاجئة التقى فيها كبار المسؤولين العراقيين وعلى رأسهم الرئيس الطالباني ورئيس وزراء إقليم كردستان مسعود البارزاني، قبل أن يتوجه اليوم الجمعة إلى تركيا.

وعبر رئيس الوزراء العراقينوري المالكي في كلمته بمناسبة وداع القوات الأميركية عن ضرورة وجود مدربين أميركيين لتدريب القوات العراقية "لأغراض محددة تقتضيها الضرورة" وأن ذلك "إجراء روتيني تعمل به جميع جيوش العالم عند استخدامها للأسلحة الحديثة" واصفا الانسحاب الأميركي بأنه "انتصار تاريخي لخيار المفاوضات".
وأضاف أن "عملية الانسحاب سوف تسقط جميع الشعارات واللافتات المفضوحة التي ظلت تختفي وراءها بعض الدول والجهات الخارجية من أجل التدخل في الشؤون الداخلية للعراق، وهو التدخل الذي كانت له تداعيات خطيرة على الوضع العام في البلاد وخصوصا في المجالات الأمنية والتنموية والاقتصادية والسياسية".

وأعلن مسؤولون عراقيون وأميركيون في وقت سابق أن اتفاقا تم التوصل إليه بين البلدين يقضي بإبقاء نحو سبعمائة مدرب أميركي بعد نهاية العام الحالي لتدريب القوات العراقية باعتبارهم جزءا من السفارة الأميركية دون أن يتمتعوا بأي حصانة قانونية.

وكان الرئيس الأميركي باراك أوباما قد أعلن في21 أكتوبر الماضي أن قواته ستنسحب من العراق بحلول نهاية العام 2011 تطبيقا للإتفاقية الأمنية الموقعة بين الجانبين، مع الإشارة إلى أنه لا يزال بالعراق حاليا أقل من 13800 جندي أميركي، بينما تبقى خمس قواعد عسكرية يتوجب تسليمها للعراقيين قبيل نهاية العام الجاري.
