[الرجل النحيف]

كثيرة هي صفات العربي ، و أكثر ما يميزه الحمية و الجود و الكرم و نصرة المظلوم
و اغاثة الملهوف و الشجاعة و الايثار و الإباء و إلى ما هنالك من أخلاق حميدة
و نبيلة ، و في التاريخ أكبر دليل على هذا.
عندما تنظر إلى حال العرب اليوم تجد ما يتقزز منه القلب و يندى له الجبين
عندما تنظر إلى حال العرب اليوم تجد العجب العجاب لدرجة تشعر معها بالحاجة إلى
تمزيق كل الكتب و إحراق كل الرسائل و المخطوطات.
لا يمكن لأي عاقل أن يتخلى عن مبادئه و قيمه بسهولة ، فإما أنه نذل و من طباعه الغدر و الخيانة ، و إما انه مجبر على التخلي و الانصياع و الانبطاح.
ربما هناك شيء لا يعلمه إلا الله ، لأني ليتني ما قرأت يوما في كتب العرب عن اناس يتم إرغامهم على فعل شيء بل أشياء لأنهم يمسكونهم من أيديهم اللاتي تؤلمهن ، فمثلا يصورونهم أو أحدا من أفراد أسرهم في أوضاع مخلة بالحياء أو في وضع الخيانة أو يتم تهديدهم بالقتل أو العزل أو الفضيحة إن لم ينصاعوا للأوامر.
فمن غير المعقول أن تأتي الأمور جزافا.
الجبن خلق جديد يضاف إلى قائمة الأخلاق التي صارت مدعاة للفخر في أيامنا هذه.

حط بفناء بيته سرب جراد فجاء قومه يستأذنونه ليصطادوه , فركب جواده وحمل سهامه وقال لأقتلن كل من يقترب من الجراد فهو في جيرتي وحين يرحل عن داري فعليكم به , وكان له ذلك
