تحصل الموهوب إسلام بعيرة المولود بتاريخ 08 أفريل 1994 ببلدية أم الطوب غربي سكيكدة، على المركز الأول في مسابقة أوروميد سكولا، في مادة الرياضيات باللغة الانجليزية، التي أقيمت نهاية شهر نوفمبر المنقضي بمدينة ستراسبورغ الفرنسية، بمشاركة 40 دولة تنتمي للاتحاد الأوروبي ، والبحر الأبيض المتوسط، والشرق الأوسط


وبذلك ظفرت ثانوية أم الطوب المختلطة، ومديرية التربية بسكيكدة، ووزارة التربية الجزائرية، بفوزها الأول من نوعه في هذه المسابقة الدولية التي أشرف على تنظيمها البرلمان الأوروبي، بقيادة رئيسه جيرزي بوزيك، كما احتلت طالبة من الكيان الصهيوني المركز الثاني، في حين احتلت طالبة تشيكية المرتبة الثالثة، والمرتبة الرابعة عادت لطالب أردني، كما وعد رئيس البرلمان الأوروبي جيرزي بوزيك النابغة السكيكدي بالتكفل بدراسته الجامعية بإحدى جامعات الطب بإنجلترا عند حصوله على شهادة البكالوريا، يذكر أن إسلام مرّ بالتصفيات الولائية بسكيكدة، ثم الجهوية، وأخيرا الوطنية، كما شارك معه في هذه المسابقة 10 تلاميذ جزائريين، وخصه رئيس دائرة أم الطوب السيد عنتري عز الدين بتكريم خاص عرفانا له بذكائه الخارق للعادة، يذكر أن إسلام يدرس بالسنة الثانية ثانوي فرع العلوم التجريبية، بثانوية أم الطوب المختلطة، ويعتبر الثالث في الأسرة من بين 6 إخوة، كلهم متفوقون في الدراسة، ويعود ذلك للعناية الفائقة التي يوليها والداهم، ويحلم إسلام بدراسة الطب بإنجلترا، معدله الدراسي هو17من 20، أما معدل الرياضيات فهو كامل أي 20 من 20، أما أضعف علامة في هذه المادة تحصل عليها في السنة الثالثة متوسط وهي 11من 20 وتأسف كثيرا على ذلك. وقد تم استدعاء التلميذ إسلام للحضور الخميس المقبل إلى مقر ولاية سكيكدة من قبل وزارة التربية الوطنية على أن يتم تكريمه.
