الإعلام الأمريكي يتحدث عن مواجهة محتملة بين إيران والسعودية



رجحت مجلة ”نيوزويك” الأمريكية تجدد المواجهة الدموية بين الشيعة والسنة في العراق، مع اقتراب إتمام الانسحاب الأمريكي من البلاد بنهاية العام الجاري، مشيرة إلى أن السعودية وإيران سيكون لهما دور في هذه المواجهة.
وقالت المجلة في تقرير حول هذا الشأن في عددها الأخير، إنه قبل أقل من شهر على ترك الأمرييكين للبلاد، تظهر مؤشرات مفزعة على عودة العنف الطائفى الذي كاد يمزق العراق قبل خمس سنوات تقريبا، لكن هذه المرة لن يكون هناك وجود أمريكي يخفف من المذبحة على حد قول المجلة. فمع استعداد القوات المتبقية التي تقدر بـ20 ألف جندي لمغادرة العراق قبل الأول من جانفي المقبل، فإن الولايات المتحدة، برغم الحرب التي كلفتها ما يقرب من تريليون دولار وحصدت أرواح 4500 أمريكي وما يزيد عن 100 ألف عراقى، ستترك البلاد وهي لا تزال على حافة الفوضى.
وتشير ”نيوزويك” إلى أن القادة العراقيين يبدو وكأنهم يصبون الوقود على النيران بدلا من أن يعملوا على الحد من التوترات الطائفية. ففي الأسابيع الماضية، اعتقلت حكومة نوري المالكي ما يزيد على 600 من البعثيين السابقين المشتبه في تخطيطهم لهجمات ضد الحكومة المركزية.
وبالنسبة لكثير من السنة في العراق، الذين يشعرون حاليا بالقلق من هيمنة الشيعة على الحكومة، تبدو هذه الحملة أشبه بمطاردة للسحرة، فيقول صالح مطلق، نائب رئيس الحكومة ”السني” إنه يخشى من وقوع صدام عنيف للغاية. وتوقعت الصحيفة أن يكون الأمر أكثـر فوضوية مع احتمال أن تؤدي نيران التوتر الطائفي إلى جر دول ذات ثقل إقليمي كإيران والسعودية، اللتين تخوضان بالفعل معركة شرسة على النفوذ والقوة في الشرق الأوسط. وهناك بالفعل مؤشرات مزعجة على أن البلدين يستعدان لمواجهة داخل العراق بمجرد إتمام الانسحاب الأمريكي. ولم يكن من المفترض أن تسير الأمور هكذا، ففي الصيف الماضي كانت هناك محادثات مطولة وشاقة مع المسؤولين العراقيين بشأن كيفية استمرار بعض القوات في الأنبار والمحافظات الكردية في شمال البلاد. فلم تكن واشنطن ولا بغداد تحبذان فكرة انسحاب عسكري تام. لكن بمرور الوقت، لم يتمكن الأمريكيون من إقناع العراقيين بالموافقة على حصانة قانونية للقوات التي تبقى، وهو الأمر الذي يراه البيت الأبيض ضرورة.
