الإمارات تعرض استضافة الأسد وعائلته


أكد مصدر مسؤول في الجامعة العربية أن هناك محاولات عربية ودولية لإقناع الرئيس بشار الأسد بالتنحي في مقابل إيجاد ملاذ آمن له وعائلته وضمان عدم ملاحقته قضائيا.
وقال مستشار الأمين العام للجامعة، خالد بن نايف الهباس، لـصحيفة “الحياة”: “إن هناك محاولات لإقناع الرئيس بشار الأسد بالتنحي عن الحكم مقابل إيجاد منفى آمن له ولعائلته”، مشيرا إلى أن هناك دولاً عربية وعالمية تتمنى أن يتنحى الأسد وأن هذه الدول ترغب في إيجاد حل للأزمة في سوريا على غرار الحل للأزمة في اليمن”. وأشار الهباس إلى أن الجامعة العربية ليست طرفا في المحاولات، لكنها أحيطت علما بها، وهناك دول عربية عرضت على الرئيس الأسد استضافته وعائلته إحساسا من هذه الدول بخطورة الوضع على المنطقة.
وقالت “الحياة” إنها علمت من مصادر مطلعة أن دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة عرضت على الأسد استضافته وعائلته، وأن دولاً كبرى قدمت ضمانات للرئيس السوري بعدم ملاحقته قضائيا في حال قبل التنحي عن الحكم وتسليم السلطة سلميا.
