بين تبذير وبخل رتبة

ليس يخلو المرء من ضد وإن
حاول العزلة في رأس جبلْ

جانب السلطان واحذر بطشه
لا تعاند من إذا قال فعلْ

ولا تل الحكم وإن هم سألوا

خذ بنصل السيف واترك غمده
واعتبر فضل الفتى دون الحللْ

لا يضر الفضل إقلال.. كما
