التهاب الفم وتقرحه
من أكثر الأمراض شيوعا، ويظهر على شكل بقع بيضاء على الغشاء المخاطي
الأسباب
استهلاك مفرط للسكر أو الأطعمة التي تساعد على تكاثر الفطريات، أو تناول
المشروبات الباردة بعد الساخنة مباشرة أو العكس، وقد يعود إلى مرض عام في
الجسم.
النباتات المعالجة
بصل ـ ثوم ـ خبيزة ـ أويسة عنب
طرق العلاج
مضغ البصل أو الثوم لمدة أربع دقائق كافٍ لقتل جميع الميكروبات التي توجد في الفم لدرجة التعقيم

التهاب اللثة
يتراوح التهاب اللثة من بسيط إلى تقيح إلى الالتهاب المزمن وهو ما يطلق عليه ( بيوريا ).
الأعراض
الالتهاب البسيط ينتج عادة من إهمال نظافة الفم، وتظهر أعراضه في صورة
احمرار في اللثة و ألم خفيف، ورائحة كريهة تصدر من الفم وأخيرا نزيف اللثة،
وقد يكون ذلك كله مصحوبا بورم بسيط في اللثة
أما التهاب اللثة المتقيح فهو يظهر على شكل رائحة كريهة جدا ونفاذة تظهر من
فم المريض، ويحدث النزيف هنا تلقائيا أو عند اللمس الخفيف، وتكون اللثة
حساسة جدا لأقل لمسة، وهي بالتالي تسبب ألما فظيعا
و "البيوريا"`هي التهاب مزمن في بالأنسجة المحيطة بالأسنان، وينتج عن هذه
"البيوريا" جيوب حول جذور الأسنان التي تصيبها، وتخرج من هذه الجيوب مواد
صديدية تجعل طعم الفم مرا، ويجد الشخص ألما فظيعا عند مضغ الطعام

نزيف اللثة
الأسباب
يحدث النزيف نتيجة عدة أسباب منها: التهاب اللثة، أو استعمال فرشاة الأسنان
بقسوة مما يجرح اللثة ويؤدي إلى تسلخها، ومن أسباب نزيف اللثة أيضا نقص
فيتامين "ج". والملاحظ أن النزيف هنا لا يحدث إلا مع استمرار نقص هذا
الفتيامين لأكثر من ستة أشهر. ويعتقد البعض أن أخذ هذا الفيتامين وحده كفيل
بمعالجة نزيف اللثة، في الوقت الذي قد يعود فيه النزيف لأسباب موضعية في
الفم
