حكم بحبس شيراك عامين مع وقف التنفيذ

حكمت محكمة الجنح في باريس اليوم الخميس على الرئيس الفرنسي السابق جاك شيراك بالسجن سنتين مع وقف التنفيذ في قضية وظائف مجاملات وهمية منحت لمقربين منه في بلدية باريس في مطلع التسعينيات عندما كان رئيسا لها.

وبذلك يكون شيراك (79 سنة) أول رئيس جمهورية فرنسي تدينه محكمة الجنح، وهي أول إدانة لرئيس دولة منذ المارشال فيليب بيتان الذي تعاون مع النازيين عام 1945 .
وأدين شيراك "باختلاس أموال عامة" و"استغلال السلطة" في الشق الأول من القضية المتعلق بـ21 وظيفة مولتها بلدية باريس في بداية التسعينيات.
كما أدين بتهمة "الاستفادة بطريقة غير شرعية" في الشق الثاني من القضية ويتعلق بسبع وظائف مجاملة جرى التحقيق فيها في نانتير (قرب باريس).
وكان شيراك آنذاك رئيسًا لحزب اليمين الرئيسي (التجمع من أجل الجمهورية) السابق للحزب الحاكم حاليًا الاتحاد من أجل حركة شعبية، وكان يعد لانتخابات 1995 الرئاسية التي فاز بها بعد خسارتين متتاليتين.
وأعفي شيراك من حضور الجلسات بسبب وضعه الصحي بعد أن قدم تقريرا طبيا يشير إلى معاناته من مشاكل عصبية حادة ومزمنة.

وكان شيراك يواجه نظريا عقوبة السجن لمدة تصل إلى 10 سنوات وغرامة مالية تقدّر بـ150 ألف يورو، لكن القاضي حكم عليه بالسجن سنتين مع وقف التنفيذ.

وأدين مع شيراك حفيد الجنرال ديغول جان ديغول الأمين العام السابق لنقابة العمال، وأحد أبناء رئيس الوزراء السابق ميشال دوبري.
